教学目标与要求
1. 能够听说读写与国家和城市有关的13个单词（词组）和相关交际用语。
2. 能够在模拟的情景下初步运用所学语言与他人进行交流。
3. 能够仿照范例写几个关于自己情况的句子。
4. 能够了解七个国家版图的形状和国旗等信息。
教学重点和难点
1. 本课的教学重点上是
1） 有关国家和城市的13个英文单词（词组）。
2） 询问并回答某人来自哪个国家，住在哪个城市。
2. 本课的教学难点是
1） 本课内容比较多，学生在语言表达上可能回遇到困难。
2） 国家、城市名称的认读与辨别。
3） Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney的读音和拼写。
课前准备
1.教学磁带 2.世界地图 3.个人信息卡片：教师准备一套A项人物的个人信息卡片，共七张，其中一份name一栏为空白。4.单词卡片。
教学过程：
Step1 Greeting.
Step2 Revision
Show some flag of the countries to review the names of the countries. Then let the students try to say the famous cities in the countries.
Step3 Presentation
1. Show a globe and ask: What city do you know Can you speak the English names of these cities Let the students try to say and try to point on the globe.
2. Listen and point. Listen to the tape and point to the cities in PartA P22.
3. Listen and repeat. Then try to chant to follow the tape.
4. Chant together. Then chant in halves, at last in groups. To be sure every student can say the names of the cities and countries.
Step4Practice
1. Read in pairs Let the students read the names of the cities and countries in partA.
2. Ask and answer in pairs Students do pair work: Where are you from I’m from…. Teacher asks: Who is from… Who lives in… Try to answer by using English names. Then ask and answer by the pictures: Where is …from Where does she/he live And then ask: Where do you come from I come from….
3. Role-play First listen and repeat. Then read in pairs. Then role-play. Suppose you’re in a party. You’re Tom, Edwad….Please get to know more friends and introduce each other. Then show in class.
Step5 Writing
First try to make some sentences according to PartB.
Please read partC and write down one on the line.
Step6 Summary

1. 本课的教学重点是：
1） 与国家名胜有关的六个短语。
2） 询问并回答他人个人信息的年交际用语。
2. 本课的教学难点是：
1） 主语是第三人称单数时助动词的变化：Where does he come from Where does he live
2） 连续询问并回答关于别人的信息。
3） Eiffel Tower, blossom, Opera的读音和cherry blossom, Disneyland的拼写
课前准备
1. 教学录音磁带。2.第61课和本课的单词卡片。3.学习第61课时用到的个人信息卡片。
教学过程：
Step1Greeting.
Step2 Revision
1. Read the new words by flashing cards.
2. Chant together then in halves—boys and girls.
3. Talk about the pictures in Lesson61 PartA. Teacher asks: Who is he/she Where does he/she come from Where does he/she live Students answer by the pictures.
Step3 Presentation
1. Look and talk about the pictures. Teacher point and say: Binbin comes from China. He lives in Beijing. Do you know what Beijing is famous for Let one student answer it: Beijing is famous for Temple of Heaven. What else do you know about Beijing Then the students try to say out the sceneries of Beijing. Then talk about other cities. At the same time, write the six phrases on the blackboard.
2. Listen and repeat. Emphasis the stress of the words.
3. Show and read. Show the word cards of the six phrases. Let some students read in lead.
4. Listen and number. Listen to the tape and number the pictures. Each one twice. Then let the students tell the answers in the class.
5. Play a game. Using the student’s cards to play the game to do pair work. If it is a card of country speak: …is famous for… If it is a card of a city Speak:…is in…
Step4Practice
1. Listen and imitate.
2. Read together. Then read in halves.
