Step1. Warm up:T: Class begins!Morning! Boys and girls!S: Morning ,teacher!T: Sit down, please!Step2. Review1. Review the numbers one through twenty in a class drill.2. Review the numbers. Write the word thirty on the board. Say the number aloud and have the children repeat it after you.3. Repeat the procedure for the other numbers.Step 3. Uncle Booky’s storytime1. Have the children open their books to page 24. Tell them that they are going to read a story about a boy.2. Have children read the story by themselves. The teacher walks around the classroom, providing helps where children need.3. Now point to the first picture and ask where the boy is. Play a game: Snap!This game practices the structure “What time is it ” and “It’s time for…”1. Tell the children that they are going to play a game called What time is it, Mr. Wolf Draw two circles on the floor, one small and one big. Tell the children that the small one is the lair for the “wolf”. The big one is the safe shelter for the “sheep”.2. Call the children to the front. One child is the “wolf”, the others are the “sheep”. Have the wolf stand in the small circle. The other children circle the wolf and ask in chorus, “What time is it, Mr. Wolf ” Have the wolf answer the question.3. After three questions, the wolf then adds “…it’s time for dinner.” to his / her answer. Then the wolf comes out of the circle and tries to each one sheep for dinner. The sheep run to the big circle for shelter.4. The sheep caught by the wolf becomes the new wolf and continue the game.Step 4. Bingo! Have the children prepare the small cards for this Unit.
