Unit8 Mocky is late.
1. 知识目标:
1能准确说出时间:正点(seven o’clock),半点(thirty),一刻(fifteen),四十五(forty-five)等时间表达.
2能用”What time is it ” 问时间，并能准确回答: “It’s nine o’clock. It’s four fifteen. It’s three thirty…”
二.能力目标:
1学生通过学习，能根据实际情况,准确运用What time is it ” “It’s nine o’clock. It’s four fifteen. It’s three thirty…””问答.
2能力强的孩子能表达:It’s time for lunch…”
三.情感目标:
1通过学习,培养孩子勇于用英语开口表达的好习惯。
2让孩子在学习中体会并学会养成良好的时间观念.
四.课前准备:课件,自制钟
五:教学过程:
1. Warming__up
(1) Greetings
(2) Review
Review the numbers from 1—60.Make sure the students can pronounce “fifteen thirty forty fifty”…clearly.
2 Lead—in.
Show a clock to the students,ask:What time is it now Help the students answer: It’s ten o’clock.
3 Practice
(1) Using the clock, T asks Ss, Ss answer T. Then change.
(2) Open the CAI, get one student come to the computer and point to the clock asking: What time is it The other students answer: It’s…
(3) S—S. Ss use their own clock ask and answer in pairs.
(4) Listening practice. Get the students open their books at page16. Listen and tick the answer.
4 Expands
(1) Write different time on the blackboard. Point to a time and say: It’s eight o’clock. It’s time for school.
(2) Let the students look at the times, talking freely: It’s … o’clock. It’s time for…
(3) Get some pairs show their dialogs:
A: What time is it
B: It’s twelve o’clock.
A: Oh , it’s time for lunch..
5 Set homework
Review the expressions of time.
Prepare the story at page14—15.
