Lesson 2

教学前思：
学生对于知识的掌握，更多的要求是学习的真实性、实用性，有效性。在实际生活中，他们能够利用所学的英语和同学或是身边的人进行语言交流，才是我们英语教学的根本目的。现代化媒体的运用当然有它的优势和好处但是，如果粉笔加卡片也能使课堂教学有显著的效果，我们为何不化复杂为简单，化光鲜的表面为平凡的实在。
教学目标：
1. 知识目标
① 掌握并能运用单词 “o’clock”及句型 “ What time is it ”、 “ It’s …”、 “ It’s time to…
② 认读并理解单词“whnt”。
2. 能力目标
能运用所学的语言知识在创设的情境中进行熟练的交际，并在此基础上能将其应用于日常生活之中。
4．德育目标
通过本课的学习，培养学生珍惜时间、热爱生活的良好品德。
教学重难点：
教学重点——学习时间的表达法及问句what time is it
教学难点——对钟面时间的熟练掌握。
教学准备：
本课的教学卡片、一架钟，教学录音机，CAI课件
课时划分：1课时
教学过程：
Step1. revise numbers
报数。Tell numbers for the teacher from 1 to 46 by Ss.
recognize numbers written by T on the Bb.
seventy-five fifteen twenty-one fifty-two
play guessing age game(猜年龄)
show a picture about a man , get the Ss guess his age.
T: how old is he
S1:he is 40
S2: he is 45…until the fifth S tell the answer.
If they can’t tell the correct answer. T must tell them. Then ,they go on guess the second picture. praise the S who guess correctly.
【purpose:在复习旧知识的基础上，把课堂气氛由有点紧张向轻松愉快转变。报数环节锻炼学生在紧张的气氛中不紧张的心理素质;猜年龄环节活动新颖，激发学习兴趣。】
Step2. New lesson.
T: Oh, 我们刚才玩得太投入了，差点忘记时间了。What time is it
Ss: it’s 10:40
T: oh, it’s 10:40. it’s time to have new lesson now.
2.T show several cards, ask:
What time is it
Ss: it is one o’clock.
T write the time on the Bb.
3. T: look at the Bb. Please listen to me .and understand how to read these time.
Repeat twice. Then get the Ss follow.
Show other time ,get the Ss try to say.
【purpose:在复习整点的基础上，自然引出非整点的时间表达方法。让学生意会该时间的英语表达法，并锻炼学生的听力水平。】
Ss’ books ,P16. play the tape ,get the Ss listen and point. Then, listen and repeat.
Point to any of the clocks, get individuals to read.
get the Ss look at the Bb ,and elicit the sum up the rule for reading the time.
【purpose:通过引导学生观察黑板上的两类时间表达法，并加以归纳。注重对学生词汇学习策略的指导与培养。】
Step3. Practice
show cards ,T ask, Ss answer.
T→Ss
T→S1、S2、S3、…
S1→S2 S3→S4…
T write times on the Bb,then, ask and answer with Ss.
3:10 7:05 9:40 10:55
【purpose:在学生基本掌握本课重点的基础上，适当拓展语言知识，是培养学生运用语言的能力。使学生做到灵活应用，而不是死记硬背。】
3.T show cards ,ask and answer with Ss
Then, get Ss ask and answer in pairs.
Step4. listen to this
discuss the time with Ss. Tell them to listen to the main words.
listen twice. Get the Ss finish it by themselves.
check the answer together.
【purpose:通过充分的听与说的练习，加强学生对本课的重点语言知识的理解与巩固，培养学生听说能力与听力技巧。】
Step5. writing
write 4 teams of time on the Bb, get 4 Ss from 4 group to write down.
The other Ss write them down on their exercise books.
Check the answer with the whole class.
【purpose: 锻炼学生书写的能力，做到听、说、读、写全面发展。培养学生综合应用语言的能力。】
Step6. homework
get the Ss write the time in English on their exercise books after class.
make a paper clock each desk.
【purpose:定量的作业布置是课堂语言知识的延伸，巩固学生在课堂上所学的知识，不致于遗忘。】
Step7. sum up
(the bell rings)
T: what time is it now
Ss: it’s 11:05
T: it’s 11:05. oh ,it’s time to stop our class.
Good-bye, boys and girls.
【purpose:一方面表现为这节课圆满的结果;另一方面起到承上启下的作用。为下文的句型学习做铺垫。】

——Unit8 lesson2 教学反思
本堂课是结合小学英语课程标准的要求而设计的。课堂教学以“What time is it ”为主题，以与每位学生密切相关的“时间”为主线贯穿始终。虽然在备课时我充分考虑利用多媒体进行教学，可到要上课之前被通知没电。不过我在课堂上为学生营造了一个轻松有趣的学习氛围，也能促使学生积极主动地学习英语，并将所学的知识自然有效地运用于生活实际中。虽然整节课堂没有像利用多媒体进行教学那么光鲜亮丽，但学生也能学得实实在在。
本课体现了语言知识的呈现、讲解、操练、巩固这样的一个任务型教学过程;且语言点教学按“简单→难”这样一过程安排设计。比如，教学时间表达法由“整点 →15、30、45分钟→ 除以上之外的时间”。课堂强调学生听、说、读、写的综合能力的全面训练;设计报数、认读、猜年龄等活动充分复习数字，引导学生由紧张的进入一个轻松有趣的学习氛围;操练形式多样：有师生问答、生生问答，先整体、后个体，有整组操练、也有2人小组操练;课堂教学得到适当的延伸——加入课本以外的时间表达法、布置适当的课外作业（写的练习与动手制作钟表），因为 适量的家庭作业可以帮助学生复习巩固所学的内容，而且使家长能够了解到他们的学习情况。
但本节课也出现了不少不足之处。比如，操练环节不够充分扎实;板书设计也久科学。思考：本节课是否需要引入竞争机制才会使教学效果更好？
