Teaching Aims:
Aims on knowledge:
1. help students review the words:
speakers, helmet, elbow, taste, belt, sight, sweatpants, pump,CD, knee, snglasses, printer, pedal, wrist, smell, touch, gloves, keyboard, brakes, ankle
2. review the adverbs which are used in questions:
when,what,who, where, which, why, how, how much, how many
3. review the numbers we have learned in the previous units.
Aims on emotion:
The students should be teached to review the knowledge they have learned before actively. Besides, studens should learn to speak English as much as they can. And teachers’ responsibility is to teach students knowledge and enable them enjoy themselves in learning English.
Teaching Aids:
CAI, word cards, tape recorder.
Teaching Importances:
Review the words and the numbers.
Teaching Difficulties:
Students should master well the knowledge they have learned by review and dare speak English.
Teaching Procedure:
Step1 warm-up
1. Sing a song
Sing a song that we have leaned in the previous units.
2. free talk
students have a free talk about the happenings recently connected with them.
Step2 new class presentation
1. show the words(speakers, helmet, elbow, taste, belt, sight, sweatpants, pump,CD, knee, snglasses, printer, pedal, wrist, smell, touch, gloves, keyboard, brakes, ankle) on the computer screen and require students put them in the right groups(there are in all five groups: senses,clothes, the body, bicycles, computers)
2. show the sports pictures of the book on CAI and require students write the names of these sports.
3. review the adverbs
show practice4 of the book on page 55 on the CAI and let students finish the blanks.
4. review the numbers
teacher plays the tape recorder and students shoule be required to write down the numbers that they have heard.
Step3 homework
Finish the practice on the text book.
