Uint 1 animals I like
The Second Teaching Plan
Teaching aims:
知识目标:1. 能正确的认读单词 giraffe-giraffes。
2. 继续加强“s”的发音。
3. 巩固8个表示野生动物的名词。
4. 能运用所学的句型正确地描述动物。
5. 熟练地运用Do you like … 进行交流。
情感目标: 教育学生在参观游玩时,做到保护动物。
能力目标: 在日常生活中能运用所学的知识进行描述事物。
重点: 能正确地描述动物。
难点: 能自然地融合P18-19两部分的内容进行交流。
Teaching procedure:
一、Pre-task preparation:
1. A song for you: “In the zoo”
Show the students the scene, when they sing the animal, the teacher will take out the picture and stick on the blackboard. Then let`s talk about the animals.
S1: Hello, where are you going
S2: Go to the zoo.
S1: Let`s go together.
S2: OK.
S1: Oh, what can you see
S2: I can see ….
S1: Do you like …
S2: Yes, I like ….\No, I don `t like ….
2.Ask the students:
“What animals can you see at the zoo ”
S: I can see …. at the zoo.
二、While-task procedure:
1. Learn “ lions、tigers、snakes …”
(1) If the students say the word, the teacher will show them the pictures quickly.
(2) Say after the teacher:
Pay attention: how to make the sound “s” correctly.
(3) Show them the word cards, let`s read them with the music.
(lions、tigers、snakes、zebras、elephants、pandas、monkeys)
(4) Please introduce the animal what you like.
S1: I like tigers.
They are big. They are orange and black.
They are very strong.
……
Then introduce with your deskmate.
(5) Please guess: “What are they ” to elimet
the word “giraffe”
T: I like them. They`re in the forest(丛林).
They have long necks(脖子)
They`re very tall.
They`re yellow and brown.
What are they
(6) Show the students the pictures and word
cards, say it after the teacher:
“giraffe-giraffes”
2. Drills:
(1) Play the cassette:
First listen to the tape, the second time, please repeat. Pay attention your pronunciation.
(2) Let`s play a game: “Bingo”
Please guess “What are they ”
Make the recorder: “Describe the animals”, let the students listen carefully, if he knows, he can say: “Bingo”, the teacher will stop the cassette at once. If he`s wrong, the cassette goes on. If he`s right, the teacher asks him:
“Do you like … ”
三、Post-task activities:
1. Have a rest: Listen to the sound of the animals, tell us “What do you hear ” Then do some actions as the animals.
2. Let`s talk:
(1) Show them the pictures of all the animals, let the students remember them .
(2) Do a survey: “Which animal is our favourite
thing ”
The teacher gives each student a piece of paper for the survey. Encourage them to say : “Hello, do you like … ” “ Please introduce the animal what you like.”
四、Homework:
1. Copy the words 6:1
2. Follow the cassette, try to describe the animals.
