Teaching Aims：
1. 能够听，说，读，写国家，城市，著名景观的名称：United States, France, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, London, Eiffel Tower, cherry blossom, Disneyland, CN Tower, Big Ben, Opera House。
2. 能够听，说，读，写询问别人情况的问句及其回答：
Where do you come from I come from…
Where does he/she come from He/She comes from…
Where do you live I live in…
Where does he/she live He/She lives in…
What’s your/ her/ his city famous for It’s famous for…
3. 知道字母组合oo在单词中有不同的发音。并能根据读音规则正确读出相关的单词和句子
4. 在仿写练习中正确使用动词的第三人称单数形式
第一课时
Teaching objectives:
1. 本课学习与国家，城市有关的词汇：United States, France, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, London
2. 能够询问并回答某人从哪里来，住在哪里
Where do you come from
I come from…
Where does he/she come from
He/She comes from…
Where do you live
I live in…

Teaching aids: tapes, PPT, pictures，Information Cards，map
Teaching procedures:
Step1: Warm-up / Revision
1. Great each other:
2. 复习上个单元所学的内容
Step2:
1. 在黑板上贴出自制的世界地图，提出简单的问题让学生回答
Where is China/ America, Canada…(先从简单的，学生较熟悉的单词入手)
Here it is(边带学生回答，边指出相应的位置)
2. 再问问题：Where is…(城市名)
It’s in…（国家名）帮助学生进一步熟悉国家和城市名称。
Step3:
出示图片，带领学生学生今天的新单词：United States, France, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, London
Step4:
让学生把书打到P22页，先让学生自己通读一遍Chant，再让学先听录音，听Chant的节奏，最后让学生，听录音跟学Chant.
Step5:
让学生看A部分人物图片，并介绍:This is an international summer camp. The children come from different countries.
1. 指着一个人物介绍:This is … He is from…. He lives in…
2. 再指一个人物介绍：This is … She comes from… She lives in…
3. 让学生看每一个人，然后说要问问题：
Where is …from
Where does he/she live
再找一个学生问 Where does he/ she come from (把句子写到黑板上)
在学生回答完之后再将答案 He/She comes from…写上
Step6:让学生假想自己是个外国人并且做一个自己的

将句子写在黑板上
Step8: 让学生Work in group of four 用重点句型练习

HOMEWORK:
1. 单词和词组：United States, France, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, United Kingdom, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, London
每个抄写一行，并注一个中文。
2. P22页 B部分，抄写一遍并翻译。
3. C部分仿写句子，写在作业本上。
