The first period
一、主要新授内容(New contents)
1. Vocabulary: rainbow, violet
2. Sing a song《The rainbow》
二、学习目标(Learning objectives)
1. 学习“rainbow, violet.”的正确发音,并学会用表示不同颜色的形容词来正确描述周围的事物。
2. 学唱歌曲《The rainbow》。
3.根据二期课改新课标的要求,在确保完成基本教学目标的基础上,可以结合学生的学习能力和语言的实际使用对教材呈现的教学内容进行拓展,所以在输出部分可让学生发挥想象力,用表示不同颜色的形容词来编一首关于描述周围事物的歌曲或小诗,这将有助于学生在实际生活中对语言的理解和表达更为准确和真实。
三、教学建议
1、任务前期准备阶段(Pre-task preparation section)
这个环节主要让学生获得对新语言材料的第一次感知,也包括复习以前的课程,但是,更主要的目的在于创设情景,给学生以引入新授知识的内容框架。同时,也要使学生熟悉学习任务及其本身所需要使用的语言,如词汇,句型,功能表达等。

1 Review the words of colours . ⒈Hold up a flashcard. Tell the students the name of the colour in English and get them to repeat it. Fix the flashcard to the blackboard.2.Repeat this procedure with the other colours.3.Ask the students about the objects on the teacher’s desk. 让学生在自然真实的教室环境中复习已学过的表示颜色的单词,增强了语言的实际运用能力。

1 Review the words of things around us and their colours. Hold up the flashcards one by one, and ask the students what colour each thing is.Fix the flashcards to the blackboard in a row. Write the name of each colour above the pictures and the name of each thing below it. For example:blue greensky tree Put the students in pairs and ask them to think of as many other things they can which are the same colours as the things on the flashcards. Supply vocabulary if they need it. Write the students’ answers below the flashcards. 通过配对——举一反三的单词扩充法,既复习巩固了先前所学单词,又激发了学生兴趣,并为后面新授做铺垫。
2、任务中期实施阶段(While-task procedure section)
While-task Procedure,这是指语言技能的习得过程。其中分为机械性操练和意义性操练两部分。机械性操练可以让学生准确地模仿、复说新授的语言,让他们经过从模仿到识记的过程,使新知识由感知、理解、模仿直到储存。

1 Song《The rainbows》 Ask the students to listen to the tape and follow in their books.Put the Wallpicture for page 29 on the board. Play the recording again. Students listen and repeat. 新授歌曲相对容易,所以采用整体听后模仿,采用集体训练快速完成。

1 Song《the rainbows》 Split the class into two groups. Two groups can sing this song as a round. The second group would begin singing when the first group starts the second line. Get the two groups take turns and sing.Ask the class to sing and act the whole song together. 通过不同形式演绎歌曲,既加深学生对歌曲的理解和掌握,又开拓了学生的思维,活跃了课堂气氛。

3、任务后期完成阶段(Post-task activity section)
Post-task Activity,这是指经过机械性操练和意义性操练,引导学生运用他们所获得的知识与技能来完成一个交际性的任务“task”,也就是语言的输出:output。学生通过前两个阶段的学习,在知识和能力上已具备综合新旧知识进行交际的能力,教师可以根据学生的实际水平设计或选用提供的活动,使学生在相应的尽可能贴近生活的语境中,正确有效使用习得语言,完成交际性的任务。

1 Make and sing a new song Draw a beautiful world on the board. Ask the students to listen to the music and imagine their favourite things. Give the class five minutes to write down the new song and prepare for singing. 配上美妙动听的音乐,让学生展开想象的翅膀,亲近大自然,对所学歌曲进行改编,发挥学生的创造力。
