was 是am, is 的过去时形式,一般表达过去时间存在的状态,常和then(那时)连用。
I was one.
我一岁。
I/He/She/It was two then.(那时我/他/她/它两岁。)
was的主语为:第一人称单数I;
第三人称单数(he/she/it/this/that)等。
I/He/She/It was tall then. (那时我/他/她/它是高。)
I was short.
我是矮的。
