There is```.比较20年前的学校与现在的学校。 由实际的问题过渡到书本情景，用一个相同的问题“Where did Wu Yifan’s father go last week ”来引出本课教学内容。根据图片教学3个词汇，并用chant巩固，增强对意思的理解。对于过去时间词组的学习是通过句子引出，学生能够更好理解。为巩固There be句式，用father和Wu Yifan的学校对比来描述。
巩固提升 Find the mistakes 出示课本35页图片：This is the picture of Tang dynasty. But there are some mistakes. Sarah has been found 3 mistakes.（呈现Sarah的句子，并在图中圈出3处错误）There were/was no```People didn’t ```People couldn’t```完成作业本29页第三小题。 根据示范找出所有的错误，并仿照例子同桌交流描述，再集体校对。先口头表达，然后书写。 本练习学生比较有兴趣，先自己找然后同桌交流，会说之后再举手回答，学生就比较有信心。作业本第三题跟上个练习类似，但需要书写，所以在课堂上做的效果比较好。
