课前准备：
1 教具准备：学习用品、生词卡片、录音机、教学挂图等。
2 板书准备：Unit 5 The seasons
教学过程：
Step 1 Warming up
1 T: Boys and girls, are you tired Let’s do some exercise.
(边说边做与课文有关的动作，为学生讨论各季节的活动做好铺垫。)
2 Greetings.
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1 T: What’s the weather like …
S1: It’s …
2 T: (看其他城市天气。)What’s the weather like in other cities
S2: It’s … (rainy/ cloudy)
3 T: Which city do you like best
S3: I like … best.
（问候之后直接询问天气状况，并由看天气预报的图引出各类天气状况，提供其他城市的图片，让学生有话可说，同时自然地渗透比较喜欢的城市。）
4 Teach: season, spring
T: I’ll show you some pictures. They’re four seasons.
T: What can you see in the picture
T: What are the flowers doing
T: What’s the weather like today (sunny) Because spring is coming. Let’s talk about spring.
S4: What’s the weather like in spring
S5: What do you usually do in spring
(通过图片引出季节，使学生对季节有整体的了解，进一步学习spring，
并行师生对话。)
5 Teach: summer
T: W hat is he doing now (swimming) Summer is coming.
T: Talk about summer.
T: Talk about summer holidays.
(讨论学生比较感兴趣的话题，提高学生的语言表达能力。)
6 Teach: autumn
T: I like summer holidays. But I don’t like summer. It’s very hot. Which is my favourite season It’s cool and windy.
T: Let’s talk about autumn.
7 Teach: winter
T: Which is the last season of the year
T: Talk about winter.
T: (比较不同的城市渗透) It’s colder in Beijing than in Shanghai.
8 Talk about four seasons.
9 Say a rhyme.
