to有两层含义和用法:

to作为动词不定式符号,其后跟动词原形,意为“同意(答应)做某事”。

to作为介词,之后跟表示“计划/条件/建议等一类的名词或代词”。

其后可跟表示人的名词或代词,

【辨析】:either…or,
neither…nor与both…and…
neither…nor既不……也不……;both…and…既……又……如:

Neither…nor…连接两个并列主语且有一个谓语时,和either...or一样,句子的谓语动词的数要和nor或or后的名词或代词一致。
