一、 教学目标：
1. 四会掌握单词：club, city, country, USA , UK, British, American, Japan, Japanese.
2. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型Where are you from I’m from … I’m … I speak …初步渗透Where is he/she/it from He’s/She’s/It’s from …He’s/She’s/It’s …He /She /It speaks …
3. 了解西方国家的风土人情，培养学生的跨文化意识和国际意识。
二、 教学重、难点：
1. 掌握Part B部分表示国家，国籍和语言的单词，其读音及拼写有一定难度。
2. 会用句型I’m from … I’m … I speak …正确模仿各个国家，国籍及语言。
三、 教学过程:
Step 1 Free talk
How are you
What day is it today
What’s the weather like today
How do you spend your weekends
Step 2 Presentation
1. 出示Name card, T: Do you have any questions about it
完整出示个人信息，作自我介绍，为后续学习作渗透。
2. T: Do you like music I like it very much. Let’s go to the Music Club. OK
①学习club. Make some phrases: Music Club, Art Club, English Club, …
②T: Let’ s go to the Music Club. Enjoy an English song《London Bridge》
③T: Let’ s go to the Art Club. Enjoy some nice pictures about countries.
3. 学习四个国家名称
①出示“纽约”图片，介绍其状况，learn the words: city, a big /beautiful city
② 引出What country (国家) is it in It’s in___________.学习USA
③ 依次出现英国“大本钟”， 日本“富士山”、“樱花”，中国“上海” 图，同法学习UK, Japan, China
4. Guessing game: What country is it 识记新单词
5. T: Let’ s go to the English Club. Today, the English Club has some new friends. Let’s go and see.
①T: Who’s coming 出示“欢欢”图，学句型 Where are you from I’m from … I’m … I speak …利用人机对话出示答案I’m from China. I’m Chinese. I speak Chinese.
请学生起立自豪、骄傲地朗读这三句话。
②出示英国男孩T: Where is he from He’s from … He’s …He speaks … 学British
③出示米老鼠T: Where is it from It’s from … It’s … It speaks … 学American
④出示小丸子T: Where is she from She’s from … She’s … She speaks … 学Japanese
6. Say a chant: Chinese speak Chinese.
Japanese speak Japanese.
British speak English.
Americans speak English, too.
7. Work in pairs: Where are you from I’m from … I’m … I speak …
Step 3 Learn the text
1. T: Today, the English Club has a visitor. His name is Tony White.
He’s talking to the children. What are they talking about Let’s listen.
2. Listen to the tape.
3. 出示听力练习题，再听录音2遍，完成听力内容。
4. 出示课文文本材料，跟录音读，自由读，齐读。
Step 4 Homework:
1. Copy the new words and sentences.
2. Read the text and try to act it out.
