3 使学生了解各个国家的一些标志性建筑以及人物，拓展学生的知识面，培养其学习英语的兴趣。
Teaching process ：
Step 1 Greetings
Sing the song “The more we get together”
Step 2 Revision
"Look and say "
1)出示幻灯片a Japanese girl.
T: Look at this lovely girl. Her name's Yumi. Where is she from Guess!
S: She is from Japan.She is Japanese.
师领读，生跟读。并注意纠正单词 Japanese的发音。
2)同法出示其余幻灯片Review the words:China Chinese, the UK, British, the USA, American, Australia,Australian France , French.
3)Match:
出示六个国家的地图。T: Here are some maps of different countries.Can you match them
学生讨论并回答，课件展示。
Step 3 Presentation and drill
1.Where are you from I’m from China.I’m Chinese.
2.Do you speak Chinese/Japanese... Yes, I do./No,I don’t. I speak...
3.Where is he/she from He/She is from China/England/Japan...
4.Does he/she speak Chinese/English…
Yes, he/she does. No, he/she doesn’t. He/She speaks...

Step 4. Consolidation (介绍一些标志性建筑)
1） T: “MiaoXuan” is from the USA. Do you want to go to the USA S: Yes. T: OK Let’s go to the USA by plane .
2） T: Follow me. Ready Go ! ( Go, go , go by plane. Let’s go by plane.) OK. Now we are in the USA.(课件出现 “The Statue of Liberty”)
3） T: It’s the the Statue of Liberty . T: Where is the “the Statue of Liberty” S: It’s in the USA.
4） T: Let’s continue our traveling .Let’s go ! (课件呈现伦敦塔桥) 介绍：It’s “London Tower Bridge ” T: Where is the “London Tower Bridge ” S: It’s in the UK .
(Use PPT to show the“Big Ben”and“Fuji Mountain”...)
Step 5. Practice and consolidation
1)Fill in the blanks.
2) Make a dialogue and act it out.(A-Meng,Harry Potter,Yao Ming,Beckham)

教后记：
在本课的教学中，我依据学生的兴趣，运用多种教学手段，使学生以不同的方式加深对知识的理解并灵活准确地运用到实际的情境中。
充分利用多媒体资源做到图文并茂、多姿多彩的学习内容，大大激发了学生在学习英语的兴趣。课件上出示的各国标志性建筑，在课堂教学中渗透一些西方文化的教学，及学生所熟悉的一些同学的照片，不但能激发学生的学习兴趣，同时还有益与培养学生的世界意识和加深对本国文化的理解和认识。
我根据教材的内容，给学生设计了一个可以让学生多说的情境，通过让学生欣赏英语的美景，将世界著名建筑的图片、和一些关于国外的习俗呈现给学生，让学生更好地了解了外国的文化。让学生能将学到的知识更好地运用到情境中去 。总之，在本课的教学设计上，我力求达到，环环相扣，层层递进，动静结合，真实有效的目的，让学生乐学、会学、乐用、会用。
