Step 1 Warming up:
1. Greetings.
T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello.
T: How old are you
S: I’m …
Ss ask each other.
2. Count the numbers from 1 to 10.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. Show them a paper plate, write the numbers on it.
T: Look, How many numbers are there Let’s count!
T: One, two, three, four, five…eleven, twelve.
Lead to say “eleven, twelve”
2. T fixes two hands on the plate and say: “What is this ”
T: Look, it’s a clock.
Lead to say “a clock”.
3. T: Look at the clock. What time is it
S: It’s one.
T: Yes, it’s one o’clock.
Lead to say “o’clock, one o’clock, two o’clock…”.
T: What time is it
Ss: It’s …o’clock.
Understand the sentence: What time is it
