Lesson14 Shopping in Beijing
教学目标:知识目标:Review the phrase: Let’s go to the ___to___.
学生可以听、说、读、写重要词汇:everyone
能力目标: Can make up a dialogue about shopping for gifts on a trip.
情感目标:通过本课学习,使学生懂得外出旅行购买礼物给家人、朋友是一件快事。
教学重点:熟练掌握本课的重要词汇everyone,并识记和运用该词语。
教具:录音机、图片
教学过程:
一、Class Opening and Review
1、Greeting
2、Play “Charades” to review the phrase : Let’s go to the___ to___.
Let’s go to the shop to buy .(物品)
Let’s go to the restaurant to eat .(食品)
Let’s go to the library to read a book.
Let’s go to the gym to play .(活动)
二、Key Concepts
(一) Introduce
Demonstrate“ everyone” with volunteers .
Ask for a series of volunteers to come to the front of class. Ask each to perform an action quickly or slowly.
Teacher: (point to each volunteer in turn.)
What is he /she doing
Class: He/she is _____ing.
Teacher: Is he/she ____ing quickly or slowly
Class:Quickly /Slowly.
Teacher: (To all the volunteers)
Stop! Please ____quickly / slowly now! (To the class.)
Look! Everyone is ____ing quickly/slowly. Say it, please, class.
Class: Everyone is ___ing quickly/slowly.
(二)Use the Student Book and Audiotape.
Review the story so far .Last time, Jenny, Danny and Li Ming were at the Palace Museum. What happened (Danny broke his tail.) Look at the pictures. What are they doing now (Shopping ) Why 利用一些问题:
Where do they go shopping (Wangfujing) Why
What does Jenny buy
What does Danny buy
Then listen to the tape carefully.(带着问题听录音思考,通过此环节,学生对课文大意有更深刻的理解, 并拓展了知识面。)
(三)Practice
1、Divide the class into small groups. Ask each group to make up a dialogue about shopping for gifts on a trip.可出示一些风景优美的旅游景点、购物场所的图片,再给一些问题引导,如:(1)Where do you want to go shopping
(2)What gifts do you want to buy for your friends or family Why
2、Play“Mother, May I ” to review adverbs from this unit. (quickly, slowly, loudly and quietly).
