五.Teaching steps:
Step 1.Organizing the teaching
1.Greetings
2.Sing the song “In the Bathroom” to review vocabulary for grooming and for parts of body.
Step 2. Revision
1.Review the body names with the game “Touch your body”.
Step 3.Key concepts:
after and before, teeth, face, brush your teeth, comb your hair
1.Introduce:
a.The Ss should be familiar with “teeth”, “face”, “brush” and “comb”
from seeing and using these words.Demonstrate the words with t
he teacher’s teeth and face, and with a toothbrush ad a comb.
b.To demonstrate “before” and “after”,,draw three clocks
in a row across the top of the BB.
Put three different times in the clocks.
Then move under the approriate clocks as you act out and say phrases such as:
At 10:00, I want to go to bed.
Before I go to bed , I brush my teeth.
After I go to bed, I go to sleep.
2.Student book :
Play the audiotape as the Ss follow along their books.
3.Practice:
Play thegame “before and after”.

1.Sing the English song “In the Bathroom”.
