一、教学目标:
A).使学生掌握词汇:cabbage,onions,peas,达到“四会”。
B).学会制作表格的基本方法,能用简单的英语表达自己的想法,并与他人进行交流,从而形成一定的口语交际能力,并完成学习任务。
C).关注学生的情感,营造宽松、民主、和谐的氛围,用电化教学手段和丰富多彩的教学活动吸引学生参与其中,继续激发和保持学生对英语的持久兴趣,促进学生的口语交际能力。
二、教学重点:
有关蔬菜名称的词汇。
三、教学难点:
能用简单的英语与他人进行交流,学会自制表格。

CLASS OPENING AND REVIEW
1.Greeting
2.Review
Play“NEVER,NEVER”to review adverbs of frequency.Use phrases from this unit:brush your teeth,comb your hair,eat fruit,play sports,take a shower,wash your face.
Play“WHAT’S MISSING”to review “skin,muscles,bones,teeth,face”.
3.Lead a dialogue.
T:Everyone wants a strong healthy body.What can make our body healthy
Ss:Good food makes our body healthy.
T:What’s good food
Ss:Meat,fish,chicken,fruit,vegetables.
T: Yes,vegetables can make our body healthy.Look.(课件出示学过的蔬菜及本课要学的蔬菜)
KEY CONCEPTS
1.Introduce(播放课件)
Demonstrate “cabbage,onions,peas”.Explain that cabbage,onions and peas are vegetables.
Demonstrate “day,week,month,year”.

3.Practice
Choose a drill to practice the new foods and include the following foods the students have mastered in lesson 11.
Divide the class into small groups.Ask each group to make a chart like Mr. Wood’s chart in N2 of the student book.(课件重放表格部分)
Show the students’ chart,give some presents to the students.
4.Use the activity book and audiotape.
