Lesson 22 Do you walk to school
Teaching aims:
Knowledge: 复习几种交通工具 bus, car bicycle, taxi, truck
学习交通方式理解by的含义。
学习掌握交际用语：How do you go to school 及答语。
2.Skills： 通过掌握交际用语,训练学生用英语进行思维以及熟练运用语言解决实际问题的能力。
3.Feelings： 激发、保持学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣，培养学生学习英语的信心和积极性。
Important points: 学习掌握交际用语：How do you go to school
Difficult points: 掌握交通方式by bus, by bike, by car, on foot .理解by的含义.
Teaching aids: cards, VCD, CAI
Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming-up:
Greetings:Hello.Boys and girls.Nice to see you. Lovely day, isn’t it
Sing a song: The wheels on the bus .
[设计意图：教师以亲切的问候，轻松的话题引入教学。看光盘边唱边做动作，渲染课堂气氛，激发学习兴趣，也为进一步学习交通工具打下伏笔。]
Step 2：Presentation:
Learn the text of No.1
Game: Guessing game
T: I have some cards. Please read them quickly. Then guess: What’s missing 教师引导学生猜出交通工具car, truck, bus, cab, bicycle等，并按猜到的顺序把卡片贴在海报上面，
T：Is this a truck No,. it’s a bus.
Is this a bus or a car It’s a car.
Listen to the tape.Ask some volunteers to be a little teacher.
Practice No.1 in groups.
[设计意图：利用猜卡片游戏，使学生积极主动参与进来。让学生当小老师，为学生创造了表现自我的机会，激发了学生的成就动机,使他们乐于学习，勇于实践。]
2．Learn the text of No.2
1) Teacher asks a student whose home is far from the school.
T: Excuse me, A. Where do you live
S: I live in a house.
T: Is that far from school
S: Yes.
T: How do you go to school
教师说慢些，力争让学生抓住更多语言信息，强调 how并板书，领读How do you go to school
Ask a student whose home is near the school.
T: How do you go to school
Walk By bus By car By bicycle Or by taxi
[设计意图：通过远近距离的对比, 引导出不同交通方式,在对比中学习和记忆，会给学生们一个条理清晰的概念，巧妙的板书设计，加深学生印象。]

2)Listen to the tape ,imitate and read the text of No.2
3).Practice in pairs.
[设计意图:按听—模仿—朗读的顺序学习句型,符合儿童认知规律,也满足不同水平学生的需求。
4).教师让同学们想象一下，用汉语说出还有哪些交通工具，并告诉学生们要表达“乘坐某种交通工具”，可以用by，例如：by plane 坐飞机 , by train 坐火车
[设计意图：拓宽学生想象空间，扩展知识面，让学生全方位，多层面地了解和学习语言。]
