The First period
一、教学内容分析
这篇课文的主要话题是谈论Xiaoping 的新家与旧家的变化.主要的知识点也集中在比较级与一般过去时的运用上.这些内容学生们在上个学期已经学习过,在本课中主要解决如何结合这两种知识去进行熟练的运用.
二、教学对象分析
学生们对本课的知识点已经学习过,另外经过六年的英语学习,他们也积累了一定的英语知识.在本课的学习中,应通过个别学生真实的搬家后的体会,启发学生们大胆地用英语进行交际,激发学生学习的兴趣,从而达到知识的灵活运用及本课内容的掌握.
三、教学目标
1.语言知识
学习运用一般过去时表达比较级的句子.
初步学习There was…… 句型.
2.语言技能
1)能流利并准确地运用一般过去时来表达比较级的句子.
2)能熟读并理解课文,完成和课文有关的练习.
3.情感态度
1)培养学生们的英语交际能力.
2)在学习过程中学会相互协助,相互学习.
4.学习策略
1)通过真实的体会,提高学生语言交际能力.
2)通过听说读练,让学生熟练掌握课文.
四、教学重,难点
能运用"一般过去时"及"形容词比较级"等语法知识讨论事物的变化.
五、教学过程
(一)leading-in
2.listen to a new song: Yesterday Once More.
2. Chant: Good, better,best.
(二) presentation and practice
2.Show the two drawings of Xiaoping’s old and new bedrooms and describe them to the pupils using the main sentences in the dialogue.
2.Ask the pupils to talk in pairs about their drawings of their houses now and before using the following sentence structures:
(1)this was\is…
(2)It was\is… than …
(3)The…wasn't…
(4)There was\is…
3.Ask some pupils to show their drawings and tell their changes in class.
4.Ask the pupils to get the details of the dialogue.
(1)Learn the new words together through the International Phonetic symbols.
(2)Watch the video of the dialogue for two times and catch the main idea of it.
(3)Do the "true" or "false" exercise.
(4)Do the exercise on Page3 of the textbook.
5.Read the dialogue in different ways.

Talk about your future home by comparing it with the home now.

2.Prepare the dialogue in groups of five and act it out in the second period.

The old house was far away from Xiaoping’s school.
The bed in the new house isn't prettier than the one in the old bedroom.
Xiaoping wasn't happy because her friends made her bedroom messy.

一、教学内容分析
因 Unit One 的篇幅较长,另外Work With Language 的内容较少,所
以可以把课文的复习与语言知识的巩固结合起来.
二、教学对象分析
学生经过一个课时的学习对课内的知识与内容比较熟悉,在本课时中学生应更加流利地掌握课文并能把Work With Language 中的句式熟练上口.
三、教学重,难点
能熟练掌握课文.
能熟练运用以下句型:

3.Ask the pupils to look at the pictures on Page 5 of the textbook and tell the differences in pairs.
4.Finish off the listening exercise(item1) on Page 1 of the Activity Book.
