Unit 8 What colour is the hat
设计理念:
颜色与我们的日常生活紧密相关,针对本课的教学内容,我力求从创设贴近学生生活的情境入手,通过情境的创设,小组合作任务的巧妙安排,使学生在真实的情境中自然地习得语言新知。为了培养学生的学习兴趣和自主学习能力,本课力示巧妙地运用活动教学法、任务驱动法、交际教学法等多种教学方法,使整个教学过程成为师生交往的互动过程。
教学目标与要求:
一、语言知识(knowledge)
掌握各种颜色的词语:red, green, yellow, brown, black, pink, blue, orange, purple, white.
学习并运用询问颜色的基本句型:What colour is it It’s …
What colour are they They are…
二、语言技能(skills)
1. To foster the students’ listening and speaking abilites.
2. To enable the students to talk freely and communicate correctly.
三、情感态度
1. 让学生发现色彩之美,培养审美情操。
2. 培养其学习兴趣,树立学好英语的信心。
四、学习策略
1. 培养积极与他人合作的能力。
2. 培养积极思考的能力。
五、文化意识
英语文化中颜色的特殊用法。
教学重点:

PowerPoint, recorder, tape, some balloons
教学流程:
Step 1: Warming-up.
Greeting:
Sing songs: Good morning, What’s your name How are you
设计意图:融入问候用语的歌曲问候,显得更加亲切自然,这种热身操练口语的方式拉近了师生间的距离。
Step 2: Presentation.
1. T: Look, boys and girls. I have some colour balloons. Let’s count them, OK
Ss: One, two, three, four …
T: Now, I can blow them up. Can you
Ask the students blow the balloons.
T: Look, my balloon is red. What colour is your balloon
Ss: Green, yellow, purple…
设计意图:游戏激趣,吹气球唤起学生的情趣和好奇心,使教学一开始便热气腾腾,通过对所吹气球的颜色的提问,很自然地引入下一步有关颜色单词的学习和汇总。
2. T: I also have some balloons in my computer. Let’s have a look.(出示课件,展示各种颜色的气球)
T: Oh, how beautiful! They are different colours, today we will learn about colour.(出示板书)
T: What colour is it:
Ss: Red, white, black…
T: Do you know why I have so many balloons (出示音乐:Happy birthday to you)
Ask the students guess why I have so many balloons.
T: Today is my birthday. My mother buys me beautiful clothes. Now guess what are they
Ss: dress, hat, skirt, coat…
3. T: You’re so clever. What colour is the dress It’s red.(板书)

4. T: Now, look, what are these
Ss: They are shoes.
T: What colour are the shoes (板书)
Ss: They are brown.
设计意图:通过巧妙地设计生日收到衣服这个情境,而导入本节课主要句型的学习,为学生较好地完成任务而扫清了障碍。使整节课从始到终有了一个很清晰的脉络,为更好的语言交流创设了适宜的情境,让学生在这种情境中感知体验,体现“创新教学”的思想。
Step 3: Practise
Ask the students talk about others clothes in pairs.
设计意图:通过有层次的语言实践练习,要求学生在情景中运用所学语言进行对话练习,激发学生的积极思维,挖掘学生创造性使用语言的能力。
Step 4: Task
1. T: We all have colourful clothes, but …(出示课件)Let’s help her, OK
Ss: OK.
T: Now let’s make clothes for the doll.(出示板书)
2. Ask the students listen to the tape and read after the tape.
3. 呈现任务:Make clothes for the doll.
4. Ask the students make a dialogue and finish the task.
5. 每组执行情况的好坏,挑选一件喜欢的衣服。
设计意图:以小组执行任务的形式来完成本课的主体教学内容,为学生合作学习、探究学习创设条件。学生在创设展示的空间中发挥每个成员的潜能。通过为娃娃设计不同颜色的衣服增强了学生实践能力及合作与交流的能力,最终达到培养学生综合运用语言的能力。本环节又充分利用信息技术中画图的知识,使英语学科与其它学科之间实现了科学的整合。
Step 5: 巩固(Consolidation)
1. See the film: Go Go English, then answer the question.(Write down the correct answer)
2. Learn to sing: What colour is that
设计意图:通过与教学内容相关的影像资料,极大地吸引了孩子们学习语言的兴趣,而且充分锻练了学生的听、说、读、写的能力,注重了语言学习的全面性。同时也培养了学生的积极思考问题的能力。
Step 6: Summary
T: Today I’ve got a happy birthday.(出示课件)Thank you, boys and girls.
设计意图:本小结自然而含蓄地表达了中外文化中颜色的差异,教师通过设计这样一个看似简单的话语,却流露出了师生之间一种情感的交流。
