Today,Chinese,math,English,computer,music,science,art,PE.What day is today It’s…. We have….class today.Do you have a … class today Yes, I do. / No,I don’t.
Ability aim：
Can talk about the School Subjects with the simple sentences.
Emotion aim：
Educative the Ss to get ready their books for the School Subjects
Main points:
Foster the Ss’ asking and answering abilities.
Difficult points:
Understand the meaning of“Today,Chinese,math,English,computer,
music,science,art,PE.”Use them correctly.
Talk about this dialogue:” Do you have a Chinese class today Yes, we do.” Freely.
Teaching materials: tape recorder, pictures, cards,a piece of Class Schedule,some books.
Teaching steps :
Step 1 Warm-up/ Review
1.Daily greeting:
T: Good morning ,class.
Ss: Good morning , Miss Li
2. Sing the song together:There are seven days.
3. Review the phrases:On Monday / Tuesday / ….
Step 2 Presentation
To learn :What day is today It’s Monday / Tuesday / ….
To learn the new words:
Chinese,math,English,computer,music,science,art,PE.
1).Let the Ss talk about what subject they like best They can say in English or in Chinese . Help the Ss say the subjects in English.
2).Present the new words : math , science, ME, PE, art etc. Let the Ss listen and repeat.
Step 3 Consolidation.
Make a schedule: Use this dialogue to finish the schedule.
T: Do you have a music class on Monday Ss: Yes , I do. / No , I don’t.
Then let the Ss ask and answer in groups. After the Ss finish the schedules, choose some good schedules to put on the blackboard.
