教学目的与要求

教具准备
1．单词卡片：classroom, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, sitting room, bedroom, study, cook, wash.
2.录音机，挂图。
3．装有实物的篮子一个。
教学步骤和方法建议
一 热身活动及导入
1．全班唱英文歌曲：I’m Going up to London
2．教师播放课本第65页的小诗Home Is a Nice Place的录音，学生看书理解小诗内容，跟录音读小诗，熟练后跟录音边拍手边读小诗。
3．教师说：Home is a nice place. Today we are going to learn“Home”.揭示并板书课题：Unit 7 Home(1) Lesson 13
二 教授新课
1．教学bathroom, dining room, sitting room, bedroom
教师指着挂图介绍自己的家：Look! This is my home. There is a sitting room, a dining room, a bathroom, a kitchen and a study. There are two bedrooms in my home. I lovemy home.
用卡片教学含有room的四个新单词：bathroom, dining room, sitting room, bedroom.
用卡片复习room和classroom，然后将bedroom和bathroom写在黑板上，让学生根据classroom的规律读bedroom和bathroom；教师再将dining room和sitting room写在黑板上，让学生找出它们与bedroom和bathroom的不同。教师应强调复合词classroom, bedroom和bathroom都是由两个单词组合成一个单词，不能有问隔；dining room和sitting room是词组，必须有间隔。
2．教学kitchen, study
板书kitchen，用升、降调读kitchen，让学生以小组为单位展开训练，单词读熟练后，再加上词组进行操练：Kitchen, kitchen in the kitchen.
Study的教学方法同上。
游戏——找房间：请一位学生上台面向黑板站着，教师把六个房间的单词卡片发给六位不同小组的学生。教师说：bathroom.拿此卡片的学生立即举起卡片给全班同学看，接着把卡片藏起来，全班同学大声读“bathroom”，台上的学生下台来找，该学生离“bathroom”越近声音越小，直到找到才中止读单词。再请五位学生找其他五个房间。
教师播放录音，全体学生看课本第62页，边听边描图，并大声跟读。
3．教学wash, cook
教师边做洗脸的动作，边说：Wash, wash, I’m washing my face.让学生猜出单词的意思。教师拿wash单词卡片，学生操练：卡片举得高，学生读大声；卡片放胸前，学生读中声；卡片放桌面，学生读小声。以此训练学生的注意力。
板书并教学：We are washing in the bathroom.
教师边做炒菜的动作，边说：Cook, cook, I’m cooking in the kitchen. 用同样的方法操练单词cook。板书并教学：We are cooking in the kitchen.
4．句型教学
通过游戏，同学们都知道六个房间的位置。教师佯装从超市购物回来，手提一篮物品，拿出一个kettle对身边的学生说：Put the kettle in the kitchen。学生若听不懂，教师可多说几遍并配以动作，学生理解后kettle放到“厨房”去。教师带学生读Put the kettle in the kitchen。一直到该学生把kettle放到厨房为止。板书并教学：Put the kettle in the kitchen。
用同样的方法再让学生Put the soap in the bathroom. Put the fruit in the dining room.提醒学生要有礼貌地回答：Yes。
翻开课本第61页，学生看书，教师播放录音，在每句话后停顿，请学生跟读并模仿录音机中的语音语调。
教师再播放录音数遍，让学生用不同的形式进行听音模仿练习。
三 巩固提高
1．同桌互动，用课桌上的学习用具一问一答，如：Put the pen in the pencil-box。检查学习效果。
2．操练课本第63页的Ask and answer.（问和答）
3．学唱英文歌曲：Polly, Put the Kettle on
四 课后作业
1．听录音，熟读本课内容。
2．完成《活动手册》上本课的练习。
3．每位同学画一幅自己家的平面图，每个房间用英语注明。
