一、教学目标：
1．能力目标
（1）初步掌握一般将来时的用法。
（2）能听懂会说What will you do in summer I’ll do…做到语音正确，语调自然，并可在实际中灵活运用。
（3）能制定暑假计划。
2．知识目标
（1）能听、说、读短语：go swimming / draw pictures / play the piano / play basketball / play on the swing / fly a kite …
（2）能听、说、读单词will England Big Ben the Great Wall …
3．情感目标
培养学生的跨文化意识，了解中、英两国的首都和标志性建筑。
二、教学准备：
1．单词卡片、图片。
2. 短语卡片。
三、教学步骤：
A . Warming-up and Revision
1、Greeting
T : Good morning boys and girls. I’m Miss Chen.
Ss: Good morning Miss Chen.
T : How are you
Ss: Fine thank you. And you
T : I’m fine too. What’s the weather like today
S1: It’s sunny / hot.
T : Oh it’s hot today. Summer is coming. So today we’ll going to learn Unit 9 Plans for the summer vacation. 今天我们要学习“暑期计划”。Lesson Seventeen.
Ss: Lesson Seventeen.
T : Can you spell the word ‘seventeen’
2、Review words.
教师由天气太热，引出句子Summer is coming. 随后板书并操练。
T : Oh it’s hot today. Summer is coming.（板书）
Ss: Summer is coming.
B . Presentation and Practice
1、Teach new words and sentences.
① Teach ‘ will ’
由上个环节引出I’ll go swimming. 随后，教师出示单词卡片will进行新词教学，并简单讲解will及一般将来时的概念，最后，采用“摇头晃脑”的方式操练单词。
T : Summer is coming. I’ll go swimming. will，将要/打算…
I will = I’ll（板书）
Ss: will…
② Practice ‘ I’ll … ’
用同样的方法操练I’ll draw pictures / fly a kite / play the piano / play basketball / play on the swing …
T : What will you do in summer I’ll go swimming. I’ll draw pictures…
Ss: I’ll go swimming. I’ll draw pictures…
③ Teach ‘ What will you do in summer ’
听课文81页录音，提问学生：“教师是怎么提问的？”引出句子：What will you do in summer 后板书并教读操练。
T : Open your books and turn to page 81. Listen carefully.
T : What does the teacher ask
Ss: What will you do in summer
T : What will you do in summer （板书）
④ Teach ‘ England Big Ben ’
由以上环节，教师说：Wang Tao will go to swimming. Sally will play the piano. And I will go to England. I’ll go to see Big Ben. 然后教学单词及句型。
T : Wang Tao will go to swimming. Sally will play the piano. And I’ll go to England. I’ll go to see Big Ben. England…
Ss: England…
⑤ Teach ‘ I’ll go to England. / I’ll go to see Big Ben. ’
由以上环节，利用课件引导学生说：I’ll go to England. / I’ll go to see Big Ben. 随后板书并操练。
2、Teach new lesson.
（1）播放课文vcd，听课文1遍。
（2）带着问题听课文1遍。
Q : What will Sally do in summer
（3）回答问题并跟读课文1遍。
（4）自由朗读课文1遍。
C . Consolidation
1、Let’s chant.
教师可把内容换成学生自由掌握的内容，并搭配节奏进行竞赛。
2、Exercises.
3、Song.
四、作业布置：
1、听课文录音，模仿跟读，并背诵。
2、完成活动用书。
3、预习Lesson 18。
