Step 1 Warm-up/ Review
1.Read the poem: A Pumpkin Seed
2.Free talk: What’s your favorite food
Do you like dumplings
What’s your favorite fruit/ soup/ drink
What about you
3.Let’s make a menu Menu
Food Soup Drinks Fruit

4.T: Today we are going to learn Lesson12.
Step 2 Learn to say
Who are they ( Grandpa, Grandma, Sally, Ben and a waitress)
Where are they ( At a restaurant)
What does Grandma want (roast duck)
What soup do they want (Fish ball soup)
What drinks do they want (Orange juice)
Step 3 Practice
Ask the Ss to look and say with the teacher
Divide the Ss into two groups to act out the two dialogs
Ask two Ss to act out the dialogs for some times .
Step 4 Look and say
Listen to the tape & look at the English books and point to the pictures.
Listen to the tape again & repeat.
Step 5 Listen and write the order.
Learn to write on page 56.
Step 6 Homework
Listen to the tape & repeat for some times .
Finish off the activity book of this Lesson .
