阅读理解
考查目的
阅读理解不仅是一种能很好地考查学生英语能力的检测手段，而且还是学生学好英语、获得交际能力的重要途径。阅读理解题一般由阅读材料(短文)和理解运用两部分组成。其考查的重点不在于对语法知识的综合利用，而是主要用来考查学生综合运用英语语言知识的能力，因此，既要考查阅读速度，还要考查理解能力。考查的内容除了对文章的事实、细节表面意思的理解，还有对文章内涵、主旨大意的深层理解，以及逻辑思维能力和推理概括能力。
解题技巧
要答好阅读理解题，除了掌握相当的词汇、必要的句型和语法知识外，关键在于加强
听、说、读、写、译综合训练，逐步培养语感，提高综合运用语言知识的能力。具体如下：

从近几年中考阅读理解考查的题型来看，常见的主要有以下五种：短文主旨题、文中细
节题、推理判断题、归纳概括题、猜测词义题。21世纪教育网
1．短文主旨题考查对文章主旨和大意的理解，常以标题或中心思想的问题出现。阅读时要善于抓住文章的主题句和关键词，注意总结各段落的中心思想，抓住首尾句，通过对文章关键事实和细节的分析，综合概括得出其主旨大意。21世纪教育网
2．文中细节题考查对文章某一句子或段落所表达的事实或细节的理解。答题时应迅速找到与问题内容相关的句子，弄清其关键词、结构和意义，有时还需用自己的常识帮助理解。
3．推理判断题考查逻辑推理能力，即根据文章的中心思想或段落大意或句义推断出其原因或结果的能力。阅读时，要根据因果关系、条件关系、时间关系等客观要素找准推理的依据，推导出正确的结论。
4．归纳概括题考查对概念、数据、意义进行归纳的能力，同样也包含有推理的因素。阅读时要看清问题的要求，留心文中相关概念或数据等内容，按要求进行正确归纳和概括。
5．猜测词义题考查某一词语的意义，包含了推理等要素。答题时要善于根据上下文确定所考词语的准确词义。21世纪教育网
(二)牢固掌握答题步骤。
1．先读问题，弄清考查要点。阅读短文前先细读一遍问题，搞清考查要点，以便在下

2．快读原文，了解大意。带着问题将文章一口气读完，了解文章大意，注意发现与问

3．细读原文，捕捉信息。(1)注意抓住文章的中心，切记文章标题和首句的提示作用；(2)抓住文章的线索，即故事发生的时间、地点、重要人物、事件的起因、经过和结果等；
(3)联系上下文及语法，分析体会生词、难句，可以借助于上下文、构词法、逻辑推理等方法来分析；(4)注意文章的深层含义。
4．根据题义，确定答案。所提问题有的可在短文中直接找到答案，不能在原文中直接找出的，可在把握全文中心和线索的前提下进行概括、归纳、推理乃至计算最终得出答案。
5．复读全文，验证答案。做完所有题目，应对照答案复读全文，以取得最佳答案。
(三)熟练运用答题技巧。
1．阅读速度要放快，视域应放宽。注意从整句中搜索必要的信息，并特别留心句型的
结构和特点，集中精力提高阅读速度。21世纪教育网
2．正确对待生词。在阅读中，遇到生词并不可怕，要注意阅读整体句子，且不要在生
词上浪费太多的时间，以免影响阅读速度。
3．注意明确文中代词的指代关系。
4．注意试题部分的特殊疑问词，如：when，where，who，what，which，why，how等，这些问题的答案往往从文中可以找到。
5．注意试题理解部分与原句的转化。如简单句与复合句的转化，名词和代词的转化。有的是句子成分的转化，如形容词由作表语转化为作定语等等。
6．注意合理分配时间。阅读理解题由于难度大、费时多，故应把其他类型的题目做好
后再做，这样就不会因时间紧张而造成心理上的慌张和恐惧。

In l826，a Frenchman named Niepce needed pictures for his business．But he was
