4. 能在阅读训练中培养学生初步的阅读意识和策略,提高阅读的兴趣。
教学重点和难点:
重点:配图故事的阅读理解。
难点:改编故事,初步复述,表演故事。
课前准备:录音带、教学挂图、学生准备的词典或有声字典,学生准备词汇积累本。
教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1. Daily English
2.Review unit 15.
1. Have a dictation of unit 15.
Step2 fun time
1.Stick the topic pictures on the Bb and let the Ss feel the story.
2. Try to read the story and circle the new words.
3.Talk sth about the pictures.
4.Play the tape for the Ss to listen on the whole and point to
the picture.
5.Listen again and follow aloud.
6.Explain the main points to help the Ss to understand the meanings.
7.Read the story in role.
8.retell the story or act it.
Step 3 Think and write
1. Go through the story.
2. Write by the story.
Step 4 Summary
Step 5 Homework
1. Read the story. 2 Recite the words.

教学目标与要求:
1. 能够听懂录音材料并将相应的人物图及其使用的联系方式图连接起来。
2. 能够在本课所涉及的情景下,用打电话的方式邀请朋友或同学一起去做某事。
3. 能够读懂信件,并能够根据信件内容选择正确的单词填空。
4. 能够运用所学知识,完成给笔友的回信。
教学重点和难点:
重点:对本单元所学的词汇和交际用语进行全面的复习检测。
难点:说的练习。
课前准备:
录音带、与本单元学习内容有关的图片。
教学过程:
Step1 Warming up
1. Daily English
2.Retell the story.
3. Have a dictation of unit 15 and review unit 15
Step 2 Listen and match
1. Let the Ss talk about the pictures.
2. Listen and repeat, then match and assess in pairs.
Step 3 Choose and talk
1. Review the expressions of making a phone call.
2. Look at five pictures and say the meanings, then give a model ,at last practice the dialogue in pairs.
3. Act out the dialogue in class.
Step 4 Let’s read
1. Try to read the letter by yourself and draw the key information .eg : Peter London ,speak English two brothers, watching TV, paying tennis ,music .
2. Choose correct answers by the letter and check
3. Assess in pairs.
4. Read the letter or practice introducing Peter.
Step 5 Let’s write
1. Read the letter and think how to fill in the blanks.
2. Fill in the blanks and read to your friends. Then assess in pairs.
