Train students spirit of cooperation and consciousness of competition. And be interested in learning English.

Do a chant together.

Step 2: Presentation.
a. Free talk: Ask students:
Students pay attention the past words.
How was your weekend
Get the answer: It was good/fun/bad...
b. Show some pictures,
ask students:
What did he/she do last weekend
c. Tell students Zoom and Zip are talking something.
What are they talking about
How was Zoom’s weekend
d. Play the CD,
ask students read the story and answer the questions:
1. What did Zoom do on Saturday morning
2. What did Zoom do on Saturday afternoon
3. What did Zoom do on Sunday morning
4. What did Zoom do on Sunday afternoon
Step 3: Practice:
a.
Ask the students to read the story together.
b.
Have students read in roles.
c.
Work in pairs and practice the story.
Step 4: Production:
Make a survey: Ask students to talk about their weekends in groups.
T
hen choose some of the groups to practice the dialogue.
Tell students about teacher’s weekend. Ask students to write down their weekend.
Step 5: Summary:
Ask students to sum up the important sentences about
this lesson,
then repeat them together.
Tell students:
To keep healthy, everyone should work and rest!
Students look at the pictures and answer the questions with the Past Tens.
Students look at the video and answer the questions.
Students listen and repeat the story and answer the questions.
Students work in groups.
Ask and answer the questions and make a dialogue.
Students write down the short passage about their weekend.
Homework
Listen to the story and try to retell it.
Ask your friends: What did they do on...
Write a composition about your or your friend's weekend.
(You can choose two of them!)

本节课是按照阅读课的教学策略设计的，主要学习有关过去式英
语达，要求学生能询问和简单描述自己及周围人群的周末，主要句型
是：How was your weekend --It was good/happy/bad/...本课的大部分动词在前几册已经出现过，因此在教学中我注意激活学生的记忆，以旧引新，引导学生熟练掌握，并注重创造宽松、和谐的学习氛围，以小组竞赛，游戏等方法进行教学，调动学生的积极性。教学设计环环相扣，分层次有梯度，注重创设真实的情景和语言环境，拓展面广，语言输出比较丰富。用多种形式进行教学和练习。当然也存在一些问题，在练习时应更广泛，学生能通过本课所学过的来进行复述课文。总的来说，我在本节课能结合教材重难点及英语学科的特点，尽量创设真实的语言环境，设计一系列活动，活跃课堂气氛，激发学生兴趣，让学生在感受、体验、参与、合作过程中学习语言，感受用英语交流的乐趣，培养学生综合运用英语进行交流的能力。
