Step 1 Lead in 复习导入
Greeting: How are you Did you have a happy holiday
呈现—Happy New Year! —The same to you!
Step 2 Presentation(Pre-listening)
1) 教师创设情境及多媒体图片呈现本课的词汇
:by bike, by car, by train, by subway, on foot, by plane
(目的:观察图片,猜测词汇的意思)
2) 比一比,看谁记得多。
根据图片说短语,学生抢答。
3) Work alone 完成课本2a —Look and match 活动
(目的:让学生熟练掌握表示交通方式的短语)
Step 3 Consolidation (While-listening)
1) Listen to 1a and answer
Where are the children
(目的:训练学生的泛听能力)
2) Listen and fill in the blanks

3) Get the students to read after the tape.

Step 4 Practice(Post-listening)
1)Read and choose the right picture. (2a)
2)完成课本2b —Listen and match 活动
(通过听的活动,学生能听懂有关表达交通方式叙述。训练学生的听力。)
3) Ask and answer。提问学生本人的实际情况,学生据实回答:

(达到学以至用的目的。通过与学生生活相结合,引起学生的学习兴趣。)
4) Pair work 让学生根据图片及1a对话,以两人为一组编对话。
Example:
A: How do you come to school
B: I …. How about you
A: I come to school…
B: How dos she come to school?

(目的:通过pair work训练学生口头表达,流利的表达本课的句型。)

Step 5 语音
1)Listen and read the sounds and the words aloud (3a)
让学生一边拼读表格中的单词,观察字母及字母组合的读音。再总结他们的读音规则。
2)Listen and circle the words with the sound. (3b)
Step 6 Summary
引导学生总结本课的词汇及句型。
齐读,提示在生活中的运用。
