本课课文是两个朋友通过对话的形式描述马
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )克吐温基本情况，而对于本模块教学任务讲述人物生平来说，信息不够。所以我另外加了两段马克吐温的生平听力，让学生在听的过程中，了解并归纳人物生平的主要结构，并运用一般过去时，叙述人物的主要人生经历。本节课的设计听说结合，先是课本的听力内容,
( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )两人在聊天中知道了马克吐温，以及和他相关的一些基本信息，这也是实际的日常生活中获取信息的方式。通常情况下，我们因为对人物感兴趣，就想知道与人物相关的更多信息。所以在教材听力基础上增加了第二段和第三段听力，这两段听力分别围绕他具体怎么有名，作品为什么著名以及他的家庭生活对他产生的影响等方面设计听力活动。通过听力活动，学生初步理解人物的生平，了解描述人物生平的结构及语言表达，为后边描述其他人物的人生经历打下基础。

在本课结束时，学生能够：听懂关于人物生平的对话，获取人物生平的相关信息；运用一般过去时和人物生平的主要结构描述人物的人生经历；激发学生了解名人、名著的兴趣，拓宽文化视野。
