教材来自于《英语（人教版）》Go for it!七下unit 9 what does he look like?第一课时。本课谈论的话题是人物的外貌特征，谈论人的形象外表，让学生学会用目标语言对人的身高、体重、发型等方面进行准确描述。这个话题贴近学生的日常生活，让他们“有话能说”；话题能拓展学生的思维，让他们“有话想说”。教材创设的语境是根据体貌特征寻找朋友，教师可在此基础上增加创设“猜猜我的好朋友是谁”和在异国他乡寻找走失朋友的情景，以拓展目标语言的真实交际意义。同时教师也可从情感态度方面适当引导学生——内在美比外在美更加重要。21·世纪*教育网
