Teaching objectives:
语言知识目标
1.“四会”掌握单词:news, turn on
2.“三会”掌握单词:
Micky Mouse, Donald Duck, cartoon.
3.能理解、说和读的句型:
What program do you like

What program does he/ she like
He/ She likes…
4.能理解并朗读课文。
5.语法;一般现在是和第三人称单数的问句和回答。
(二)语言技能目标
1.能正确读本课的单词,理解课文并能朗读。
2.能初步用英语描述不同的电视节目。并初步会用英语了解别人所喜欢的节目。
(三)学习策略目标
1.让学生在情景中理解和掌握词汇及句型。
2.通过交际性操作,让学生更深地体会交际对语言学习的重要性,培养与人交际学习的习惯。
(四)情感态度目标
培养学生热爱生活,增强英语交际能力和自信心。

Teaching procedure:
Step 1: Present the teaching aims in the screen and let the students read them by themselves.
掌握和理解课文新单词;
能够表述不同的电视节目;
能够用英语了解别人所喜欢的节目。
Step 2: 自学竞赛1
Watch the video twice and answer the following questions about the dialogue. (看课文录像,找出下列问题的答案)
Does Xiaoling like watching TV What about you
Does Xiaoling’s father like listening to the radio
What is the name of the cartoon
Does xiaoling like cartoon
Get the students to find out the answer to the questions
(比一比,谁先找到答案)
Step 3:
Read the dialogue in group and try to find out if they have any questions. ( 小组阅读课文,找出一些不懂的单词,或句型,小组互相讨论学习)
Ask the students to go over the dialogue quickly to see if they have any question to ask. Then discuss the questions raised by the students.
Ask the students to read the following and explain some of them if necessary.

Step 4: Watch the video again. Try to fill in the blanks. Ask the pupils work in groups.

Step 5: Read the dialogue in group. Try to act them out. Ask also can discuss some pronunciation in their team
Step 6: Invite some groups to role play the dialogue.
Step 7: Make their own dialogue. The teacher makes an example with students. Ask them to work in groups. After some minutes, ask some pairs to presents.

B: Yes, I do.
A: What program do you like
B: I like… What about you
A: I like…
Step 8: Ask the students to go over all the content to find out of them have some more questions to ask. If no questions, do exercise. Ask them to work in groups and then check the answers.
TV Program Introduction
Welcome to watch the TV program introduction (介绍). There are some interesting programs tonight.
There is Guangzhou News from 7:00—7:30. From7:35—8:30, there is TV plays. NBA is from8:35—9:00. From9:10—10:55, there is a TV play: A Fairy. From11:00—12:00, there is a cartoon: Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
7:00—7:30 1.
7:35—8:30 2.
8:35—9:00 3.
9:10—10:55 4.
11:00—12:00 5.
Step 9: Make a survey in their group and fill in the form. ( 在小组内做调查并填写表格)
