Unit 1 What Does Sue Do on Weekdays
一、教学内容

语法 比较级的初步接触,对older的理解 初步了解比较级,知道older是指年龄上比较大的意思

2.掌握四会单词
3.了解比较级所表达的意思
4.能就“生活”话题进行交流
三、教学难点
1.需要学习的单词量大
2.连贯说话——能简单“生活”话题进行交流
2.初次接触比较级,理解上有一定的难度
四、教学目标
通过本课的学习, 从以下五个方面培养学生的素养,进一步提高学生综合运用语言的能力
1.语言知识目标:
(1) 学生能发/ i :/这个音,知道发/ i :/的字母组合ee
(2) 学习要求三会单词两个,四会单词十二个,短语两个
2.语言技能目标
(1) 学生能运用所学的发音规则,记忆单词
(2) 能简单“生活”话题进行交流
3.学习策略目标
(1) 通过A big book、课件的帮助,学生能将单词与相应的事物之间建立联想,说出句子
(2) 学生能积极地运用所学的英语表达,并运用第三人称单数
4.情感态度目标
(1) 通过对读音规则的学习,增强学生学习英语的自信,培养他们的兴趣
(2) 通过说话,锻炼学生在学习中克服困难的意志,允许犯错,并在错误中学习,增强学习的积极性与信心
5.文化意识目标
通过介绍与外国人交朋友的情况,培养学生的世界交际意识.

六、教学过程( T is for the teacher .Ss are for the Students)
Step 1 Greeting and leading in
A ( Use the real situation to greet each other and lead in some new words like each other, pupil, study , older ,than ,early ,subject, glad, may ,e-mail …)
B How to pronounce “ee”
T mentions the red letters–ee and say out / i :/, but don’t write down on the blackboard Please look at these words “meet-see-bee-need-Leeds” and says out .
Ss: m-ee-t-meet, s-ee, b-ee, n-ee-d, L-ee-ds…
T: Good job! What does “Leeds”mean
(With the help of the PowerPoint, Ss guess the meaning of it )
Step 2 Text learning .
Firstly,read the big book and try to talk about Sue’s life on weekdays.(T and Ss together)
Secondly, Ss try to say out Sue’s life sentence by sentence.
Thirdly, Ss choose the verbs and fill in the blanks with their right forms.
Then ask them to retell Sue’s life.
(While learning the text , show out the other new words such as former, hour, practise ,piano and pen friend )
Step3 Tasks
Task 1, Listen and find out the questions in the dialougue.
Who’s the pretty girl in this photo
How does she go to school
Does she go to school by underground
Does she study Chinese at school
Does she have lunch at school …
Task 2, Look at a photo of a foreigner and ask questions and talk about him.
Step 4 Check
(1)Ask Ss to sum up what they learnt today and self-assess their learning.
(2) T assesses and encourage the children to conquer the difficulties.
Step 5 Homework
(1)Read the dialogue three times.
(2)Write a short article about your best friend’s life on weekday.
