1教学目标
1.通过学习和测量感知周长的概念,认识什么是perimeter。
2.区别哪些事物具备周长 学习描画事物的边线。
3.设计小组合作的环节,测量身边事物的周长。
4.通过发现生活中的周长,说说观察到的身边的perimeter,让学生们明白周长在生活中的一些用途。让孩子们意识到身边处处是数学,学数学是为了运用于生活,从而增强学生们学习数学的兴趣。
2学情分析
五年级的孩子已经具备了一定的英语基础和语言的表达能力。但毕竟是用英语教授数学知识,因而在设计本课时特别是涉及到数学知识的环节尽量考虑语言的标准,精炼和简单化。仍需要在一些必要的语言词汇上加注中文解释。在数学知识方面,学生已经具备了一定数学知识的积累。对事物的周长有了一定的认识,在此基础上再准确认识周长的概念,测量事物的周长。
3重点难点
通过学习和测量感知事物的周长,使学生认识简单的周长概念。通过学习使学生能够认识封闭图形的周长并且测量,并且发现生活中更多的周长问题。
教学难点:

使学生通过学习,测量一些生活中物体的周长,并向大家介绍自己的作品。
