Language Lab:1. 通过拼读单词进一步巩固字母和单词。
2. 根据课文内容回答Questions and answers中的问题,并根据实际情况回答On your own中的问题。
Music Box:掌握字母oy,ow和ou在单词中的读音。引导学生分辨双元音/ i /和/au/的发音,通过复习含有 / /和/ou/ 音素的单词,强化并掌握这两个音素。

第一课时:Plants
教学目标
一、基本目标
(1) Learn to express these plants in English: rose, sunflower, carnation, lotus, lily, tulip, grass, pine.
(2) Pronounce and spell the new words properly.
(3) Using the sentences the students learned before.
二、发展目标
(1) Using some adjectives to describe these words.
(2) Having the students is able to ask and answer about these words.

一、课前准备
1. Say the rhyme: Swing, Blow the balloon.
2. Daily talk.
二、授课
1. rose
1)Show a plastic rose and present the new word.
T: here’s a flower for you. Do you like the flower Do you know this flower’s name

2. sunflower
1)Show the picture card and present the new word.

3. carnation
1) Show the picture card and present the new word.

T: What are these They are carnations. We can also say it-Mother’s flower.
2) Read and spell the new words properly.

T: Do you like red carnations or....

4. Lily, lotus, tulip.
Use the same way to teach the other words.
5. grass, pine.
1)Show the picture of a park... (consult the student’s work book p48)

2) Read and spell the new word properly.
