主语、表语可以互换。
Her hobby is swimming.

现在进行时区分V-ing 形式做表语—等于一个adj.判断标志:
系动词之后,一般修饰“物”,译为“令人….”
说明主语的性质特征

I am amused by his joke. (amuse)
区分V-ing 形式做定语 (用于名词前后)2.V-ing 形式做定语(1)— adj.判断标志(名词前/后):
一般修饰“物”,译为“令人…..的” = 一个定从
如: a frightening story 一个令人害怕的故事
= a story which is frightening
a frightened girl 一个害怕的小女孩
= a girl who is frightened

V-ing + n. = n. for doing
swimming pool = a pool for swimming

= water for drinking
2. teaching (teach) building教学楼
= a building for teaching
3. shopping (shop) center 购物中心
= a center for shopping
V-ing 形式做定语(3)— 表主动或动作正在进行判断标志(名词前/后):
1. boiling water 沸水(正在沸腾的水)
boiled water 开水(已经煮过了的水)
a teacher working at school 一个在校工作的老师
= a teacher who works at school
a thief caught by a policeman 一个被警察抓到的小偷
= a thief who is caught by a policeman
The kite, flying (fly) in the sky, is very beautiful.
The man, standing (stand) there, is my father.
(V-ing做定语时,单个词在n. 之前,短语在n. 之后)
动作正在进行动作已经完成表主动表被动V-ing 形式做宾语补足语 (用在宾语之后,补充说明宾语)V-ing 形式做宾语补足语 判断标志:
宾语之后,动作正在进行,与宾语呈主动关系
