Step 1. Warm-up
Greeting and free talk: Introduce and revision
of some prevision sentence patterns.
b.Sing a song: sing together.
c.Say it again without looking at the words.
Step 2. Knowledge
a.Take out a beautiful box, say: Wow! It’s
pretty. What’s in it? Let’s open it and see.
Say and open it. Then make a surprise to say:
Oh, a pair of shoes and a pair of socks .
b.Put the shoes card and the socks cards, teach the words and write
It.
Step 3. Comprehension
a.Match the “shoes”,”socks”, with
their pronunciations. Invite one of the
students to the front.
b.The class asks in chorus:
What would you like?
I like those shoes/socks.
May I try the shoes/socks on?
Certainly.
c.Pair work or group work.
Step 4. Applications
Ask several pairs or groups to act their
dialogues.
Step 5. Homework
a.Act out the dialogue.
b.Read and write the new words in this lesson.
Show out the pictures and learn the new words and drills.
Practice the dialogue in groups.
Finish off the assessment while doing the exercises.
