一．教材分析
本课时主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的有关描述动物的形容词，学会表达个人对动物的喜好；学会运用why, what, where引导的问句，了解动物的外形、生活习性及主要产地，并能运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物，进一步培养和激发热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。

通过本课学习，学生将学会描述动物，学会表达喜好并陈述原因:

⑴掌握一些动物名称：tiger, elephant, koala, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin,giraffe以及zoo ,animal.
⑵ 能运用得体的形容词来描述动物:smart,cute,,beautiful,clever, ,friendly,shy以及正确运用very和kind.
⑶ 掌握句型:
(a)Let’s see the lions first.
(b) What (other) animals do you like --- I like pandas.
(c) Why do you like koalas --- Because they’re kind of cute.

学生通过谈论动物的特点,让学生学会观察、关爱动物并珍爱大自然。

Step1 Greeting
Good morning, everyone. I am happy to teach you English this class. I am from Wenzhou. I’d like to learn about you.(ask some questions :What’s your name/ What’s your favorite subject/sport/food )
Step2. Presentation
T: It’s sunny today. Let’s go to visit Wenzhou Wild Zoo.
1. Learn the new words about animals
(1) Guess according to the sound: What animal is it

(2) Guess according to the key words:
a. jump,pocket------kangaroo
b. long neck -------giraffe

通过播放声音,呈现关键词让学生猜动物,学习新单词.并通过大脑风暴复习以前学习过的动物名词。在猜的环节中，追问学生:What does it eat What is it from What can it do 复习关于动物生活习性的表达。

课后作业是课堂的延伸。通过让学生描述自己喜欢动物，并将其落实到笔头。

九．教后反思
这堂课，各环节时间分配得当，节奏较快，能较好地调动学生的积极性。尤其是喜羊羊与大灰狼这个环节的设计，迎合学生的兴趣，学生能很好掌握目标语言。但是也有一些不足：如要求学生回答时，部分学生只讲单词，不利学生语言表达能力培养；kind of 这个环节引入和操练太勉强；教学用语仍过于繁杂。
