利用网络平台拓展课程资源,培养多元智能和语言综合运用能力。
通过对扩展听读,培养学生的实际语言运用能力,使每个学生在不同程度都得到发展。
培养学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生学习的积极性。
过程与方法目标
根据教学主题的需要和交际的需要,借助多媒体网络资源学习
通过pair work逐步培养孩子们的相互协作意识。
通过提供一定主题内容的图片和关键词句,培养学生在key points辅助下进行口语表达的能力;

《Unit4 My School Things 》(Story Time)主要学习内容是通过学习小故事掌握表达“这是我的……”(this is my…)的句子,及在扩展学习跨越式资源的基础上学习常用句型。
在本节课中,学生通过pair work,运用英语表达自己有的文具,在学习小故事中,结合故事情节扩展对于This is my…句型的应用,并在此基础上,扩展听读,鼓励学生多说、多练,激发学生学习英语的积极性,提高学生的英语听说能力。21·cn·jy·com

Step I Warming up: Free talk
Step II Revision
1. Let’s chant
2. Show the pictures of the school things. Use the words to practice the sentences: what’s this? It’s a … and stick the pictures on the blackboard.21cnjy.com
3. Play the game: pat on the pictures.
Ask two students to come to face on the blackboard. The teacher shows the whole class a school thing and asks “what’s this?” The whole class answer: “it’s a …” And the students who face on the blackboard try to pat on the picture as quickly as they can.21教育网
4. The teacher shows the students the school things and say: this is my… and asks the students to work in pairs and show their partners their own school things.2·1·c·n·j·y
Step III Presentation

Step Ⅳ Extended learning
1. Listen to a new song and ask one or two smart pupil “Do you have a …” Make him or her answer “Yes, I do.” Then ask the students to work in pairs and practice “Do you have a …” “Yes, I do.” “No, I don’t.”21·世纪*教育网
2. Listen to a dialogue: “show me your …” and the teacher asks the students to show several kinds of school things with the answer “here you are”.www-2-1-cnjy-com
3. Look at the reading material: Is this a book? Learn the positive answer: “Yes, it is.” “No, it isn’t.” Ask two students to set example and ask the students to work in pairs.
Step Ⅴ Homework
