宾语从句须注意,几点事项应牢记;一是关键引导词,不同句子词相异;
陈述句子用that ,一般疑问是否(if/whether )替;

主句若为现在时,从句时态应看意;主句若为过去时,从句时态向前移;

宾语从句是名词性从句的一种,在句子中起宾语的作用。在主从复合句 中作及物动词的宾语,或介词的宾语,或形容词的宾语。21·世纪*教育网
一、宾语从句的引导词
1.如果宾语从句为陈述句,常用that引导。that本身无实际意义,也不在宾语从句中充当任何成分,因此常可省略。如:www-2-1-cnjy-com
He said (that) he had been to the Great Wall twice. 他说他去过长城两次了。
2.如果宾语从句是由一般疑问句转化来的,应用if或whether引导。if,whether在句中不充当任何成分,但有一定的意义,意为“是否”,不可省略。【出处:21教育名师】
例句: I want to know if (whether) he lives there. (从句是一般疑问句)
我想知道他是否住在这里。
例句: Let me know whether you can come or not.(从句是选择疑问句)
让我知道你是否能够到达。
例句: Please tell me when the plane will leave.(从句是特殊疑问句)
请告诉我飞机什么时候起飞。
【注意】 只能用 whether 不能用 if 的情况。
(1)在动词不定式之前只能用 whether。
例句:I can’t decide whether to stay.
我不能决定是否留下。
(2) whether 后可直接接 or not,而 if 不可以。
例句:I want to know whether or not it’s good news.
我想知道是否是好消息。
(3) 在介词后,只能用 whether。

注意:Could you tell me if you know the answer?
这句话有两种意思:“你能告诉我是否知道答案吗?”或“如果你知道答案,可以告诉我吗?”

二、宾语从句的语序
无论主句是什么语序,宾语从句除了引导词放在从句的句首外,还要注意宾语从句要用陈述语序,即“主语+谓语+……”。但是,当连接代词本身在宾语从句中充当主语时,则要保持原来的语序,即“连接代词+谓语”。如:2-1-c-n-j-y

I don’t know who is the richest of them. (who在宾语从句中作主语)

★陈述句变为宾语从句时,要注意人称和时态的变化,语序不变。
例句: She said, “I will leave a message for you.”
= She said she would leave a message for you. 她说她将给我留一个信息。

三、宾语从句的时态一致性
在复合句中,宾语从句中的谓语动词时态在一定程度上受到主句中谓语动词时态的制约,这种现象称为前后时态的一致性。宾语从句的谓语动词时态有以下几种情况:
1.主句中的谓语动词是一般现在时,从句根据实际情况可用各种时态。如:
Do you know who he was talking with at eight last Sunday? 你知道上周日八点他正在和谁谈话吗?
2.主句的谓语动词用一般过去时,从句中的谓语动词也应用过去的某种时态。如:
The teacher wanted to know if her students had finished their homework.
这位老师想知道她的学生是否已完成了家庭作业。
3.当宾语从句是客观真理或规律时,其时态不受主句时态影响,仍用一般现在时。如:
She said the sun rises in the east. 她说太阳从东方升起。
四、否定前移
在think(认为), believe(相信), suppose (设想), expect (期待) 等动词之后的宾语从句中,如果从句中的谓语动词表示否定,则其否定式要前移,即将主句谓语动词think, believe, suppose, expect等变为否定形式。如:21cnjy.com

[注意] 如果宾语从句后面有宾语补足语,要使用形式宾语it,将从句放在宾语补足语之后。如:I thought it strange that she didn’t come. 我认为她没来很奇怪。

你知道为什么冬季比夏季冷吗?二、宾语从句与主句的时态要相互呼应 主句是现在或将来时态时,从句可用任何所需要的时态。主句是过去时态时,从句要用表示过去的相应的时态。但如果从句中有明确表示过去的时间状语,则从句应用一般过去时,不用过去完成时;如从句表达的是客观规律或真理时,要用一般现在时。如:易错知识点He said he had finished his studies when the war broke out.

注意:连词 that 引导的名词性从句很少作介词的宾语,只用在 except, but 和in 等少数几个介词后。其他一些介词的宾语从句如由连词 that 引导,则需用it 先行一步,作形式宾语。如:
He is a good student except that he is a little careless.
他是个好学生,只不过有点粗心。
See to it that children don’t catch cold.
当心孩子别感冒了。
四、连词 whether 可引导主语从句、宾语从句和表语从句,不可省。if 引导宾语从句。 (1)宾语从句是肯定句时,whether 和 if 可互换;但 whether常和 or not 连用,if 则不能;宾语从句是否定句时,一般用 if引导。如:I wonder whether it is true or not.不知这是不是真的。
I don’t care if it doesn’t rain.天下不下雨我不会在乎。
2)作介词宾语时,只能用 whether,不能用 if。如:Everything depends on whether we have enough experience.
一切都取决于我们是否有足够的经验。
五、that 引导宾语从句时不可省略的几种情况:1.that 引导的宾语从句的状语部分位于从句前部时。 如:I promised that if anyone could set me free, I would make him king over the earth.
我曾许诺如果有人把我放了,我就让他成为世界之王。
2. 当主句的状语部分位于 that 宾语从句前时。如:Abraham Lincoln later said himself that he only went to school a little now and a little then.
亚伯拉罕·林肯后来自己说他只不过是时断时续地接受教育。
3.主句的谓语动词与宾语从句之间有插入语时。如:When he got to England, he found, however, that his English was too limited.
然而当他到了英国时,他发现他的英语很有限。 4.当一个谓语动词带有两个或两个以上的 that 引导的宾语从句时。如: Then he said that French was the most beautiful tongue in the world, and that we must keep it among us and never forget it.
他说,法语是世界上最美的语言,我们必须坚持说法语,永远也不要忘记它。5.宾语从句是双宾语中的直接宾语时。如:I must never tell anyone that I could not see the cloth.
我决不能告诉任何人我看不到那布。
6.宾语从句的主语是 this/that,或用 this/that 修饰主语时。
如:He said that that was a good idea.
他说那是个好主意。
7.在直接引语中,主句和宾语从句被隔开时。如:" I'm sorry to tell you ," he said , "that you didn't watch carefully enough what I did. "
“我很遗憾地告诉大家,”他说,“你们对我所做的事情观察得还不够仔细。 ”
8.宾语从句的主语是非谓语动词或主语从句时。如:The old lady then explained that what she was looking for was a pair of gloves for a girl.

①宾语从句是陈述句,引导词用that,在口语中that可以省略。如:
We believe (that) he is honest.
我们相信他是诚实的。高频考点②如果宾语从句由一般疑问句转换而来,其引导词用if或whether。一般情况下,二者可以通用,但从句中有or not或从句充当介词的宾语时,只能用whether。如:I don’t know if/whether she will come here.
我不知道她是否将来这儿。
Sorry,I don’t know whether he will come or not.
对不起,我不知道他是否会来。③宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,引导词就是特殊疑问词。如:
Could you tell me where the post office is?

【例1】Could you say it again?I can't understand ________ you are talking about.

A2. 宾语从句的时态
宾语从句中的谓语动词的时态是由主句中谓语动词的时态来决定的,一般有下面几种情况:
①主句的时态为一般现在时、一般将来时或祈使句时,从句的谓语动词的时态要根据具体的情况用相应的任何时态。如:
He says he will ask Mr. Hu to give Jim some work.
他说他将叫胡先生给吉姆一些工作。②主句的时态为过去时态时,从句的谓语动词的时态要用相应的过去的某一时态。如:
She said she missed us very much.
她说她非常想念我们。
③从句表示的是客观真理、普遍真理、自然现象时,从句的时态一律使用一般现在时。如:
He said that the sun is bigger than the earth.
他说太阳比地球大。【例3】 The official said that they ________ a new law
to protect the tourists the next year.

?在含有宾语从句的复合句中,宾语从句要使用陈述语序,即“引导词+主语+谓语+其他”。如:
I want to know when the train left.
我想知道火车是什么时候离开的。注意:①有些特殊疑问句本身是陈述句语序。如:
What’s wrong with…?
Which is the way to…?
What happened to you…?
What's the matter/trouble…?
Who studies the hardest in your class?
②do you think后接宾语从句时,特殊疑问词即引导词要前置,do you think作为插入语。如:
Who do you think he is talking with?
你认为他正在和谁交谈?
?由do,does,did构成的疑问句,在转换成宾语从句时,要去掉do,does,did,且从句中的谓语动词要根据主句时态作出相应的变化。如:
“Does he sing well?”The music teacher asked him.
→The music teacher asked him if (whether) he sang well. 这个音乐老师想知道他唱得是否很好。 ?如果是will,be,have,can组成的疑问句,在变为宾语从句时,要把这些词还原到句中原来的谓语位置上,并根据主句的时态作相应的变化。如:
“Will you be free tomorrow?”She asked me.
→She asked me if (whether) I would be free tomorrow.她问我明天是否是空闲的。【例5】 —Hi,Bruce. Here is a letter for you.
—Thanks. I wonder ________.

在宾语从句中,当主句的谓语动词为think,believe,expect,imagine,suppose等时,如果主句为I或we时,从句中表示否定意义的not应移到think,believe,expect,imagine,suppose等前。如:
I don’t suppose he will come.我猜他不会来。
【注意】如果主句主语不是I或we,则not不前移。如:
She thinks she can’t arrive there on time.

①当宾语从句的主语和主句的主语相同,且谓语动词是hope,wish,decide等时,从句可转化为不定式结构。如:
I hope that I can see you again.
=I hope to see you again.我希望能再次见到你。②当宾语从句的主语和主句的主语相同,且谓语动词是know,remember,forget,learn等时,从句可转化为“疑问词+不定式”结构。如:
I don’t know what I should say.
=I don’t know what to say.我不知道该说什么。③当主句的谓语动词是ask,tell,show,teach等,且宾语从句的主语和主句的间接宾语一致时,从句可转化为“不定式结构”或“疑问词+不定式”结构。如:
Mr. Hu tells us that we shouldn't draw on the wall.
=Mr. Hu tells us not to draw on the wall.
胡老师告诉我们不应该在墙上画画。④有些宾语从句可转化为复合宾语结构,常用动词find,think,make。如:
I think it is necessary for us to learn to wait.
=I think it necessary for us to learn to wait.
I find she is a good girl.
=I find her a good girl.⑤由what引导的宾语从句可转化为定语从句。如:
We did what we could to help you.
=We did everything (that) we could to help you.
Robert saw what Mr. Smith did.
=Robert saw everything (that) Mr. Smith did.【例7】 将下列句子改为简单句。
The teacher told the boy he shouldn't spend too much time playing games.
解析:主句的谓语动词是tell,宾语从句的主语是主句的间接宾语,故从句可简化为不定式结构:tell sb. not to do sth.。The teacher told the boy not to spend too much time playing games.
