She’s a nurseT: (point to a student.) What does he/she want to be Ss: He/She want to be a secretary.Using the bookPut Ss into pairs. T: Ask your partner questions like these. (Point to the model questions at the bottom of the page.) Give Ss time to work in pairs. Walk around the classroom to check how Ss are doing.Sounds and wordsGetting ready T: Let’s practice the sound /b /. Look at my mouth and repeat. T: /b /. Ss: / b/ Make sure that Ss use both lips to make the sound. Have Ss look at the picture on the page. T: Let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape and Ss point to each word as the tape says it. T: Let’s listen again and this time, repeat. Have Ss repeat after the tape. T: (point to the basketball player.) What does he do Ss: He’s a basketball player.
