教案 课时1
1教学目标
1、本单元的主题是“水”,教学中要充分利用“水”这一话题,开展讨论,使学生了解水的重要性,提高学生节约用水的环保意识。
2、学生能够简单描述水的来源,水在生活中的用途,并了解水循环的过程、简单写一写。
3、学会短语use…to…在句子当中的使用方法。
4、能认读字母组合th,掌握这两个字母在单词中的基本发音。
5、帮助学生了解傣族的传统节日——泼水节。
2学情分析
孩子大多数接触英语的机会较少,但从平时的上课中,他们总会用一双双求知的眼睛看着你,可见他们对英语充满了渴望与好奇。但是,当学习的单词和句子越来越多时,有很多孩子因为不会认读单词、记不住单词而苦恼。但英语靠的是日积月累的坚持学下去,所以到目前为止,绝大多数同学都能脚踏实地的学下去。21·世纪*教育网

1.帮助学生学习Look and learn中的词组。

3.通过Culture corner栏目,帮助学生了解傣族的传统节日泼水节。

活动1【导入】Water
利用谜语引出主题water。教师说谜语,让学生猜教师描述的是什么。

活动2【讲授】提问学生水的用途
1.与学生讨论水的用途,导入核心句型及单词use和useful。

2.出示Look and learn的图片,并提问学生水的用途。

活动3【活动】How do we use water   
学生结对讨论How do we use water?将学生讨论的答案以思维导图的形式出示在黑板上。

活动4【练习】完成后续练习
播放课文Listen and say录音,学生先跟读,然后分角色朗读课文,并完成课本第75页Listen and say的后续练习。21教育网
活动5【作业】Homework
仿照Listen and say的后续练习,让学生分组整理出一份关于水的报告。收集一些关于水的图片,包括水的来源、用途并说一说。
4.2 第二学时
4.2.1教学目标
1.通过Ask and answer的语言输出活动,帮助学生巩固本单元的生词及句型。
2.通过语音部分的儿歌,帮助学生了解字母组合th在单词中的发音。

活动1【导入】珍惜用水
l.复习核心句型,让学生说说自己每天都用水做些什么。

2.展示一些有关节约用水的图片、海报,导入主题并与学生展开有关珍惜用水的讨论。

活动2【讲授】Ask and answer
1.提问并板书句型:How do people use water? 学生结对子讨论。

S1: Farmers use water to grow crops. Firemen use water to put out fires.

出示课本Ask and answer的图片和词组,让学生根据图片提示,结对子互相问答。

活动1【导入】让学生说说哪些地方可以找到水
出示与故事有关的大自然景物的截图,如the sun、clouds、rivers、mountains、trees、ice、snow、rain、water drop。让学生说说哪些地方可以找到水。然后引入课文主题。

T: What’s coming out of the tap?

活动2【讲授】通过问答和听录音,初步感知故事大意。

活动4【练习】画出水的循环
