2. Let the Ss know family is warmly.
3. Let Ss know we must love our parents and grandparents.
4. Guide Ss to separate the man & woman.
三、Teaching aids:
CAI, pictures, words card
四、Teaching importance and difficult:
The important points of the lesson: Master 3-skill words.
The difficult points of the lesson: How to separate man, woman, boy and girl.
五、Teaching steps:
Step 1. Warm up.
Sing a song: Boys and girls. (CAI)
Daily talk.
T: What’s your name Are you a boy/girl (Point to a student.)
T:Who’s the boy/girl (To another student.)
S: He/She is …
T: Hello, … Where are you from
Step 2. Task 1 Meet Amy’s family.
1. T: Who’s this girl Do you know (Show a picture of Amy…)
T: Yes, she is Amy.
T: Look, I’m Amy. This is my family. How many people in the family
Let’s count. One, two, three, four, five. Do you want to know who are they Let’s have a look.
2. T: Who’s this man This is my father. (Show a picture.)(Read)(Put on the picture on the board.)
T: … , Do you have a father
T: …. , Who’s this man
T: Dad, dad, father.
T: Who’s this woman This is my mother. (Show a picture.)(Read) (Put on the picture on the board.)
T: Mom, mom, mother.
T: I have a mother, what about you
3. T put something on the father, then he is grandfather. (Put on the picture on the board.)
T: Who’s this man now
T: He’s a grandfather.
T: Grandfather is father’s father.
T: Grandpa, grandpa, grandfather.
T: I like my grandfather, what about you
4. T: Now let’s guess, who’s this women (Point to another place.)
T: Look, she is grandmother. (Read.) (Put on the picture on the board.)
T: Grandmother is mother’s mother.
T: Grandma, grandma, grandmother.
5. Chant.
I can say, I can say. Father is dad, dad is father.
I can say, I can say. Mother is mom, mom is mother.
I can say, I can say. Grandfather is grandpa, grandpa is grandfather.
I can say, I can say. Grandmother is grandma, grandma is grandmother.
6. Let’s do.
T says: Act like a father/mother/grandfather/grandmother. Ss act.
7. Make friends.
T ask four Ss come to the board, one acts like a father, one acts like a mother, one acts like a grandfather, the other one acts like a grandmother. Give the words card of the four words to other four students. They must make their friends in the shortest time.
8. Chant.
T: Father, father, I love father.
Ss finish the chant by the group of four.
Father, father, I love father.
Mother, mother, I love mother.
Grandfather, grandfather, I love grandfather.
Grandmother, grandmother, I love grandmother.
Step 3. Task 2. Choose W.C.
1. T shows many pictures. Look, xxxx they are men. Xxx is a man. (CAI)
T: xxxx are women. XXX is a woman.
T shows a W.C.T: Look, this is W.C for men, and this is W.C for women.
T shows a picture: Which W.C should he/she go
2. Ss put the pictures in the right W.C.
Step 4. Task4. Talk about my family.
1. Design a family.
T: This is Amy’s family. Now please design your family.
T: Now please talk about your families in the groups.
2. Report.
3. T: I love my father, I love my mother, I love my family.
T: Let’s say “I love my family.”.
Step 6. Sing a song:
Father and Mother.
