Most of them move to find food. But some of them move to find enough space. When it gets cold, many birds move to warmer places to find food. Some fishes give birth(产卵) in warm water and move to cold water to feed their babies. Do you know salmon(鲑鱼)? This fish is born in fresh water(淡水)but it travels many miles to salt water(咸水). How do birds change their homes?
Those birds usually fly over land, not water.
Big groups of birds may fly together over land. Sometimes you will see them flying in a V-formation(V字形) in the sky.How do birds find their way? No one really knows.
