语言知识
能够听说读写形容词的比较级形式：taller，stronger，older，younger和shorter.
知识技能
1.能够用句型I’m …cm tall. He/She’s…cm tall 描述自己和他人的身高。
2.能够用句型“You’re taller than your brother. I’m older than you .”进行年龄和身高的比较。
情感态度
学会用形容词的比较级来谈论自己、朋友及其他人或事物。
2.引导学生关注自己身边的人、事物及自然界中与我们共同生活的其他生命。
重点
听说读写形容词的比较级形式，并能用含有比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。
难点
听说读写四会单词，并能根据某一情景使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答cm的发音。
教具
录音机、录音带、单词卡片、测量身高和体重的工具
准备活动
Warm-up：
教师播放三下第六单元的Let’s do录音
Tall，tall，tall，make yourself tall,
Long, long, long, make your arms long,
Big, big, big, make your eyes big
Review：
T: Who’s your Chinese teacher？
S:
T: What’s she/he like
S: She/he is tall, strong, short, thin, kind, smart…
教学过程
教师出示测量身高的工具量自己的身高说：
I am 168cm tall. Do you want to have a try
教师板书 I am 168cm tall并领读cm，centimeter
2. 教师找3个学生上台量，教师问How tall are you？
S1：I am…cm tall
教师指着S1问台下的学生：How tall is he？
Ss：He is …cm tall
同理，教师指着S2, S3, 问：How tall is she/ he
Ss: She/he is…cm tall
教师让三个学生按高矮排队，站成一排，问台下的学生：Who is tall？
Ss：S2
T: Yes, S2 is taller than S1
S2 is taller than S3
教师板书taller，领读
4. 教师接着问，Who is short ？
Ss：S3
T: So we can say
S3 is __shorter than S2
S3 is __shorter than S1
学生会回答出shorter
教师板书，领读
5. 同理学习stronger
T: Who is strong？
Ss：S2
S2 is stronger than S1
6. 教师在黑板上列出自己家人的年龄，48，50，27，
My mother is 48. My father is 50. I am 27.
My father is older than my mother
My mother is younger than my father
教师板书 older younger 领读
7. 教师播放录音，学生跟读。
巩固练习
Let’s chant：
Mike is taller than Lee.
Lee is shorter than Sue.
Sue is taller than Amy.
How tall are you
Amy is stronger than Sue.
Sue is younger than Lee.
Lee is older than Sue.
Are you younger than me
Ask and say：
请学生根据实际情况说句子，运用句型：
I am taller than ______
I am stronger than______
I am older than _______
He is shorter than ______
You are taller than _____
看谁说的最多，教师及时予以奖励。
Group work:
学生带好纸笔在组内进行调查，互相询问：How tall are you？How heavy is he/she
调查完毕，各组派代表上台汇报调查结果：
