本节课是山东科学技术出版社五年级下册unit4的内容，本单元主要围绕neighbourhood展开教学。本节课是本单元的第三课是一节阅读课，主要介绍了小区内公园里的人们正在做什么。本节课的功能是谈论小区公园里的人们在做什么。重点是现在进行时的复习，以及人们经常从事的活动的汇总，另外就是用第三人称形式来描述一个人正在做的活动。21世纪教育网版权所有

教完本节课后感觉优点有一下几点：
学生对于前面学习的阅读方法例如略读、跳读、精读掌握的较好，如第一个问题学生能够很快的根据文本最后一句话找到答案。在精读的过程中学生能够根据所涉及的问题，对照文本改错。21世纪教育网版权所有
对于现在进行时学生能够理解，并且能够联系现实生活仿说出句子，这是在预设的过程中没有想到的。
在最后的练习中学生能够根据自己的的课前调查和实际生活经验补全对话，有些学生写的比较有创意。
不足：1.在听音排序环节中，显得有些过于简单，因为就是让学生听课文的顺序，可能存在有些学生不用听也可以将顺序排对。这个环节可以换成将课文顺序打乱，然后让学生来排，这样既锻炼了学生的听力，又检测了学生对文本的理解。21教育网
2.在Fill in the balanks环节中在让学生填完之后，可以设计几个小问题，考察学生阅读能力还是很有必要的。21cnjy.com
