Lesson 25 Beijing Is Great!
一、教学设计思路
本课的主要教学目标是词汇Beijing, hotel, trip和句型Let’s go on a trip. I want___ and ___to come.本课中,教师可以首先通过中国地图导入北京;然后,通过2008年奥运会志愿者宣传片、北京全景图以及师生情景会话进行新知识的教学,并通过分组完成任务对北京的名胜古迹进行讨论学习。
二、教学目标
(一)知识
听说、认读词汇Beijing, hotel, trip
句型Let’s go on a trip. I want___ and ___to come.
(二)能力
1.能根据旅行说几句话。
2.能根据出示的关于北京的景物的图片进行简单描述。
(三)情感
激发孩子们学习英语的兴趣和好奇心,提高他们自学的能力及搜集资料的能力,培养他们的爱国热情。
三、教学重点
1.听说、认读词汇trip, come, go, fun, great, shop restaurant, hotel。
2.介绍北京并能用所学句式去介绍中国的其他地方。
四、教学媒体
1.中国地图,北京地图。
2.北京全景图。
3.Restaurant, hotel, shop等图片。
4.录音机,磁带。
五、教学过程
1.导入
1)Daily greeting。
2)教师出示中国地图:
T: What country is it
What do we speak in China
What is the capital city of China
Have you ever been to Beijing
Would you like to go on a trip to Beijing

2.呈现新课
1)教师先呈现2008年北京奥运会自愿者视频,
T: What does it talk about
Ss: The Olympic Games.
T: When will the Olympic Games be held
Ss: In 2008.
T: Where will it be held
Ss: In Beijing.
T: Yes, the 29th Olympic Games will be held in our Capital-Beijing. Do you want to go to Beijing
S1: Yes, I do.
T: Do you want to go to Beijing
S2: No, I don’t
T: Where do you like go

(教师询问不同学生。)
T: I love to go on a trip to Beijing. And I want … and … to come, too.(教师随便指着两位学生说。)

让学生模仿以上对话,进行练习。
2)教师准备好能都代表北京的图片,
T: Are you ready
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s go and have a look.
教师出示一张北京全景图,
T: Wow, Beijing is a big city. Yes or no What can you see
教师分别出示hotel,shop,restaurant图
T: In Beijing, it has big shops, restaurants, and hotels.
让学生跟读这些单词。
2)小组讨论:
Please list other famous things in Beijing.
让各个小组将讨论结果以表格的形式呈现,以特征形容词形容,如:
The Palace Museum old and beautiful

各小组展示自己的讨论结果后,教师帮助学生就行归纳:
Tian’anmen Square
It’s the largest square in the world.
Palace Museum (Forbidden City)
It’s behind Tian’anmen Square. The palace mainly consists of Taihe Palace, Zhonghe Palace and Baohe Palace.

3.趣味操练
Divide the class into groups. Each group makes a big poster entitled "A Trip to Beijing." The students should include drawings, or cut-outs from magazines, of places they would like to go, including hotels, shops and restaurants. (If the students live in Beijing, the poster should be like an advertisement to travel to Beijing.) Note: the students can pretend any pictures of hotels, shops and restaurants coming from Beijing. The students should label as much of their poster as they can in English. Encourage the students to use as much English as possible during this activity. Brainstorm phrases they might use and write them on the blackboard. For example, the students heard and practiced all the phrases below in Levels 1 and 2:
