教学目标
1.能够按照字母a在开闭音节单词中的发音规律拼写单词cap, cake, map, face 。
2、能够基本区分开闭音节，简单了解字母a在开闭音节单词中的发音规律。
3、能够按照要求完成书上Let’s spell部分练习
二．教学重点难点
1.能够根据字母a在开闭音节单词中的发音规律，补全单词或听录音完成单词拼写。
2、能够学会唱“We have a new classroom”。

多媒体课件，教学图片，教学挂图，学生活动手册等
教学过程
Step 1 Warming up & Revision
教师出示上课时的教学图片，让学生看图，快速说出单词并造句。
让学生两人一组以chant的形式说唱Let’s do部分祈使句，并根据Let’s do 做出相应的动作。
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
1、Let’s sing
1）教师利用课件出示下面的图片，要求学生自由组合两人一组创编对话，说一说你的新教师有什么：What’s in your new classroom
2）教师播放歌曲“We have a new classroom”。让学生听三遍，说说自己所听到的内容。教师用课件出示歌曲，带领学生朗读歌曲。
3）再次播放歌曲，让学生跟着录音学唱歌词。
2.Let’s spell
1）教师用课件出示句子：My dad has a cat. The cat has a hat.
教师要求学生快速读句子，比一比看谁读的快，读的准。在确定学生都能流利读出句子之后要求学生以小组讨论的形式，找出划线字母的发音规律，每组派一个学生汇报。各组回答完毕之后，教师总结归纳：在一个单词以字母a加一个辅音字母直接结尾时，字母a的发音为[ ]。
在确定学生能够准确读出并按照发音拼读单词之后，教师利用课件出示另一组单词：face，cake, name, make。让学生仍旧以小组的形式练习拼读单词，并讨论总结字母a的发音和构词的规律。小组汇报，最后教师总结：字母a在一个辅音字母和一个不发音的e结尾的单词中字母本身的音[ei]。教师出示更多类似的单词，帮助学生巩固对这一类单词的认识。
完成Read, listen and chant
教师播放录音，第一遍让学生听，第二遍让学生尝试翻译，第三遍让学生尝试跟读。
4）完成Read, listen and tick..
教师播放录音，让学生在书上独立完成听力练习，之后学生汇报自己的完成情况。
3.完成Listen, circle and write.
教师播放录音，让学生在教材上独立完成听音拼写。
Step 3 Extension & Consolidation
教师利用课件出示更多闭音节和开音节单词，让学生尝试以小组的形式利用刚刚学过的规律拼读单词，引导学生读出单词的正确发音，并总结发音规律。
