一．动词不定式的构成:肯定：to +动词原形
否定：not +to +动词原形
动词不定式的作用
1．动词不定式作宾语,在动词want ,hope ,would like ,decide ,wish .choose ，learn等词后
如：I learn to speak English
2.动词不定式做宾语补足语
1）ask\like\would like \teach \want\help\等sb to do sth
2) let\make\have\hear\see\watch\notice sb do sth (动词不定式 不带to 做宾补的句子变为被动语态需要还原to 如：In the old days ,the workers were made to work .
3.动词不定式作主语
1)动词不定式作主语时，常用it 作形式主语，将不定式放在后面
It takes sb sometime to do sth
It is good \better \easy\difficult (for sb) to sb sth
It’s time (for sb ) to do sth
It’s kind \nice\clever\silly \foolish\generous of sb to do sth
2)To see is to believe .(作主语) 眼见为实 。To study is the most important thing.
4.动词不定式作状语(go ,come ,stop 等词后)
He went to Shanghai on May Day to see World Expo 2010 .
Ifollowed the aliens to see where it was going .
5.动词不定式作定语
Bridge Street is a great place to have fun .

二．动名词和分词（现在分词，过去分词）的作用
1．动名词做主语，宾语，表语
1）Eating too much is bad for your health .(主语)
2)His job is selling computers .（表语）
3)She likes reading newspapers after supper .(宾语)
2．分词作表语，定语，状语
1）At present ,China is a developing country .But the USA is a developed country (定语)
2）．The girl got out of the lift ,smiling .(伴随状语)
3）washed vegetables 洗了的蔬菜running water 流动的水

(三) 即可跟to do 又可跟doing 意义大致相同begin、Start、love、continue ,hate ,like ,dislike
(四) 跟to do 又可跟doing 意义完全不同

（六）感官动词即跟do 又跟doing
Feel (感觉)、hear（听到）、see（看到）, watch,(观看，注视) notice （注意到）,find （发现）
