本单元教学内容与学生的生活联系紧密，涉及到的天气情况，学生在四年级下册已经学习过，在教学中，我通过借图说话，简笔画等不同的形式反复呈现新知识，从而降低学习难度。本课时的“read
and
write”部分，综合了许多新知识，而且融入了一定的文化知识，学生难以完整地理解，有的学生甚至看到了就害怕。因此，在教学中我将内容作了适当地分解，给学生铺好阶梯，进行有层次地操练，层层深入，化解学生的畏惧心理，从而使学生有话可说。
